I wanted to post this a few days ago, but I didn't get around to it. Been rather busy with work the last couple of days. I felt like this roleplay might have been slightly better than the one that took place at the ppv. For all the right reasons. I knew I had competition in the sense that people would be showing for said match. With more effort/time put into this one. Figured, I'd just get some thoughts. Thanks in advance.

I dug it. I really enjoy the way you illustrate how Calvin the asshole heel wrestler differs from Calvin the family man, it gives the character a very relatable feel. Also, the story was well written, had me in suspense until the end; as a reader, I sympathized with the worry, the anticipation... I was invested. Really good all the way around.

I appreciate the kind words. Being someone that has been into wrestling ever since I was a child. Being someone that has wrestled and been part of the business for the last couple of years. I have a better mindset than some people might. Not a knock at anyone, but I tend to have that edge. I remember as a kid I always believed that the guys I saw on TV where like that in real life. But obviously as I grew up, got wiser, and understood things. That's not the case. I really like to compare Calvin to Triple H sometimes. Triple H by far one of the best heels/assholes in wrestling. But when he takes that suit off, when he goes home, he's a family man and loves his little girls to death. I've always wanted to make sure there was two sides to Calvin. Well two sides when he's a heel. There's the prick everyone will see cutting hateful promos and beating the shit out of you in a ring. But then there's the man that takes off the boots, the tights, and goes home to his family. He's the softer version of himself. After all if there's anything I have ever learned with wrestling. Each persona/character we see is a similar person outside of the ring, just aped up about ten times. But like I said, I appreciate the kind words. Appreciate that someone can relate and enjoy the "two sides" of a person. More than anything I am glad that I could tell a story that people could get behind/invest themselves in.
