Hi, Brian here- I'm writer of the Polar Phantasm (and his collection of supporting cast wackos); you may have heard of me from such places as that thing I'm going to talk about here. Are we no-selling WCF's existence here, or tap-dancing around it, or speaking of it, or what? I mean, I get that it's not an issue and shouldn't have to be, but let's face it- at least from jump you're gonna have a bunch of motherfuckers who all know each other from Seth's playground and we're all gonna want to mention it. I'm not saying we should sit around and cut promos about stuff people did somewhere else, because that's dumb. But can we at least play up old allegiances and rivalries some? I mean, with writing to the effect, anyway. Just saying, if Twilight shows up in this piece I should at least be able to give some explanation as to why Polar is freaked out by that on a deep level. Because I'm not ignoring it; fuck that shit. You put Twilight in front of me and I'm at least mentioning that Polar's seen this crazy bitch before; that's happening. Not a threat, a promise. Thanks for putting this together, btw- if Seth's taking some time out of the business, I'm glad somebodies have picked up the torch and run with it. Ideally I can get a bunch of the weird kids to follow me, hoping to salvage some of the plans we'd had for the future (when WCF theoretically had one). Oh yeah, which one is the Pantheon locker room? -B.

I think we keep as much history as we need; a lot of us were in mid-story, and it feels like such a shame to start over.

Fuck it, he's staying a drunk. Write what you know!

Okay, answering the first question of the day. The answer here is that it is up to the user and how you communicate with other people. Some people are looking to be completely clean from WCF while others might look at this as a mass exodus story/happening like TNA or something. I personally will be trying to leaving as much WCF out as I can with exception of some alliances and such but I don't expect other people to do that. It is all to your discretion, as people usually enter an e-fed not knowing what is going on so it doesn't really disrupt the idea. Good luck!

The one thing to remember like everyone else is saying, is CLEAN SLATE. Of course, it shouldn't be totally ignored. Probably IC treated like WWE treats any non-WWE company, with vague mention and acknowledgement of the past life.

My viewpoint on the matter is something I've put together over my years of drifting through feds, and y'all may find it useful. Basically, whatever fed you're in right now - in this case UCI - is the in-universe equivalent of WWE; the biggest company on the planet, with primetime TV slots and all that groovy goodness. Any other feds we may or may not have haunted are the "indies", or "rival companies". We can acknowledge the personal history between characters, but the importance of previous titles and accomplishments would be downplayed.

I haven't said it officially, but I'd like to see people treat each other IC like they're all new signings with history together without throwing out this whole elaborate promo based mostly on things from the characters past lives. For example: If I were a guy going against Jay Omega, I'm not going to bring up him winning WAR or anything specific. You are free to mention that they're accomplished or that the opponent is someone who you've had asskicking matches against in the former life.

Its important to let characters who've been around have their background, but at the same time, its important that we let the lore of UCI be its owns.
