The Polar Phantasm and Bonnie Blue like this
Post by "Relentless" Andre Holmes on Jul 25, 2016 21:20:01 GMT -6
Chicago was in a shit world. The riots, the gangs. Crime was escalating, and reaching higher than the average of the nation; however, there were people who wouldn't rest until they found a solution to put an end to all this addictive chaos. Others who devoted their lives on ending the culprits spawning darkness, and aggression into the minds of the innocents. These men, and women would be the ones to pull humanity from the thread tied in their limbs, and rip them away from the hands of evil. Our story is now being deeper, and deeper. The Guardians weren't going to stand any more for all the shit that the Yakuza was doing in the Windy City of the USA. It's going to come to an end, one way or another.
Corey Black was already on the verge of scoping out a high ranked member of the Yakuza who was already in Chicago for a business meeting. The night was dark, the city was less busier ever since David Sanchez was announced Mayor. Since his reign in the office, it's like martial law was the law God has bestowed in the first place. Citizens consumed with fear. A man who has such power could be so dedicated abusing it to his advantage, and belittling those on the streets who walked around like cattle without a shepherd. That fear makes people do things; crazy things. It was unfair, and unjust but power is power. What does all men want when they have power? More power.
Corey was perched on the edge of a four story apartment building two blocks away from the Acadia restaurant on S Wabash Avenue. His long black hair being blown by the wind as his narrowed eyes pressed against the binoculars displaying a HUD to locate the yakuza members. Dressed in a full black kevlar armor with his blade sheathed, and attached to his belt. Black gloves with a feature to activate a stun electric charge for battle, and very well armed with multiple pistols especially on each side of the belt, and the favourite MG rifle attached to his back. But no man could go without a black blade for a little sharp edge in a fight. Carefully scouting the restaurant, three black SUV's pulled up in front of the Acadia. Men dressed in full black suits, and one opens the back door on the middle SUV.
Corey Black
Well look at these mothafuckas in their fancy little suits. Probably bout that at Target.
He chewed on his gum, and continued looking in the binoculars. Detailing everything, and then the sub-boss, the higher up, came out. Bald headed with his black shades on, white suit with a black tie, very sharp dressed too. Corey rolled his eyes, and groaned. So cliche the Yakuza were in their lifestyles but his scouting paid of as he saw the Inagawa-Kai mark tatted on the neck of the boss. He chuckled. That little smirk to the left of his lip, and he got his target. Finally, he's been waiting so long on a little slip up from these Japanese bastards. This was the tick he needed to get some information about the plans they have for Chicago. Corey never believed the Triads were responsible for death of Garcia, it was too easy to crack a large case on a powerful Chinese family. Something was wrong, and he needed to find out what.
He took off in a sprint, and leaped from the edge of the building to the other. Bursting that adrenaline through his veins, and pushing himself to get a closer look. Hopping from building to building until finally dropping on his feet to a local market place where the angle was perfect to see the yakuza getting together at a table in the VIP section of the Acadia. Corey sat down with his legs kicked up, and crossed over. Back leaned against the wall of another building attached to the supermarket. This spot was perfect. He pressed the binoculars against his face, and clicked on the sound inhibitors to get a full hearing of what they were discussing.
Corey Black
Alright ya' dumb son of a bitch. Give me the money.
Security was tight. Men who were heavily armed with pistols or Uzi's behind their jackets stood guard as the higher up, Burraku Kai, sat down at the head of the round table, joined by three other men who were also coming up in the Ingawa-Kai family. Each member at the table were sipping on a 1924 bottle of white champagne, very formal in their body gestures, and speech. Burraku took a few sips of the champagne glass, and leaned forward with the knife in his left hand to cut the steak on his plate.
Burraku Kai
Gentlemen. I offer my gratitude for joining me on this short notice. Our plans for Chicago are moving thoroughly now the public's eyes are shifted on the Triads. Now we are able to accelerate our plans in full motion, and experiment more on the subjects.
He takes a small bite after cutting a piece off his steak. The members at the table just sit, and listen to their boss. Very disrespectful to interrupt, dishonorable is more like it. Cory was leaning closer; interested more in Burraku.
Burraku Kai
Chicago, once a peaceful city, has now fallen into a purge. Riots were necessary in upstaging the media to keep their nose out of our business but the streets are now filled with imbeciles who have nowhere to go. Our duty is to ensure that our family remains the strongest, and most powerful in all of the our world. Those who fail to deliver not only dishonor themselves but dishonors the Yakuza, and especially me. We are needed, this world needs us, and we will continue to go forth in our path to take control of his blasted city. I assure you, the bio-weapon is fully prepared, and cleared to be in action.
Corey Black
Bio-weapon, what the fuck?
Corey shifted around, standing on his feet bent over with his right hand placed on the edge to keep himself balanced, and damn sure not falling to the concrete below.
Burraku Kai
Our scientists created a serum that enhanced the human body. Changing, and altering it's DNA while enhancing the process of the brain to create special abilities. You all seen the cartoons? Yes? No? Think of these men are metahumans. We've made history on successfully creating a bio-weapon that has more value than anything in the world. Faster reflexes, strength, speed, stamina but most importantly, he has the ability to control electricity, and electromagnetism. With this bio-weapon, I can promise you that no one would dare to ever step in our way again, and our plans will be accelerated by ten fold.
Corey Black
Holy fucking shit.
Impossible. The Yakuza getting their hands on bio-wepaons, and serums? Too far they overstepped their boundaries, and Corey's heavy breathing was the signal. The Yakuza tapped into an opportunity that change the game but even worse was they were unpredictable about what to do with a weapon as they described. An entire city could be leveled, a state or even a god damn country if they chose too. Corey quickly removed the rifle off his back, and flicked up the Vortex Spark II Red Dot scope on the top of the rifle. Chamber loaded, the gun positioned with it's own tripod slammed on the edge of the roof. He leaned his right cheek against the gun, and closed his left eye as he looked in the scope. The red dot slowly moving upwards to the back of his head, and finger gently against the trigger.
Corey Black
Fuck this. I'm taking your jap' ass out right now.
Burraku Kai
A toast to our succ--
As soon as he raised his glass along with his members, one of his security guards rushed over, and whispered in his ear. Corey watched in his scope until clocking his left eyebrow up, and removing his finger from the trigger. Judging by Burraku's facial expression, he was very upset by the news his security gave him. Something was up, and Corey just checked in by clicking the comm' system in his ear to transfer the sound from the binocular to his ear. Burraku grabbed the collar of his security and put him down to his knees. Everyone in the restaurant noticed, and just started leaving. Acacia was very luxurious but not worth risking a scary shit scene from a gang.
Burraku Kai
What the hell do you mean the bio-weapon is here?! I was told he was under control, and his memory erased. Damn you! Sorry gentlemen but our time has been cut short. As you, you little shit, stay here, and bring him back to me alive!
Corey Black
....Fuck.
The security quickly did their job in clearing out the restaurant, and ensuring the high profile valued men were escorted back into their SUV's. Corey got up from lying down on his chest, and quickly directed the rifle to the moving vans until hearing a large crash go off in the restaurant. He moved his black hair from out of his face until checking the binoculars again. The HUD was distorted, and he threw the piece of shit tech to the ground beside him; wait. The entire block was flickering on, and off with power. The security left behind went inside Acadia, and quickly removed their guns to secure the building. Lights flickering on, and off, the tech on Corey was malfunctioning. An electrical interference.
Corey Black
The fuck? The bio-weapon! Now's my chance to take it out.
He dropped to his right knee, and quickly held the rifle up against his right shoulder. Head leaned against it, and scoped the men out through the window. They all stood in a line with their guns pointed as a the kitchen doors were blasted off from the hinges. Exploding into shards of wood thrown everywhere; furniture such as kitchen ware, tables, chairs, and even half of the bar disintegrated as smoke clouded the only exit out the back. A small figure by 5'9 walked with his silhouette being covered in blue electrical charges surging around it's body, and bright blue eyes staring into the souls of each man. Corey quickly aimed the red dot to the silhouette, and presses his finger against the trigger more, and more, and more...
Corey Black
You have got to be kidding me...
The smoke cleared, and Andre Holmes stood there only dressed in a nearly shredded black underwear. Everywhere his body exposed except you know where, the tattoo "Relentless" on his black was glowing bright blue. Muscles enhanced, and looked bigger than before. He stood there with his fists balled up, and shaking; electricity surging around it the most as he leaned forward with his eyes narrowed, and teeth gritted. The security stood there with their hands shaking, sweat pouring down their head. Corey couldn't believe Andre was the bio-weapon they were talking about all along but obviously he couldn't take them all on. It was one vs ten. Andre stepped forward step by step, and his voice boomed with echoes bouncing off the nearly destroyed white walls.
Andre Holmes
WHERE IS HE?!
Corey Black
They really messed him up. Well, he was already messed up but they just-- yeah. He's worse than I thought.
The security guards just opened fire, and Andre extended his left palm out. Every bullet just stopped in mid-air between the equal distance between him, and them. His fingers slowly wiggling around once each magazine was empty, and each chamber useless. The guards looked at each other, and the bullets slowly turned around to face them again. They couldn't move; frozen in fear. Corey just watched with his blue eye in the scope in complete awe at the power he was given. Andre shifted his palm into a fist, and pushed his left arm out. The electromagnetic hold over each bullet propelled through the bodies of each security guard as they screamed, and flew back with their arms, and legs wailing around. Blood splattering on the walls, the window, the broken furniture then drowning the white rug. A new paint job for Acadia, blood red seemed to be the new fashion.
Corey Black
What the fuck?!?!
Corey quickly strapped the rifle over his back, and got back up to full height. He backed up until breaking out in a sprint, and leaping off the edge of the roof to fall through the open window, and land in the restaurant. It was a complete mess. Behind Andre was a torn down wall showing the destruction of the kitchen bar, furniture, and in front of him were dead bodies with bullet holes from head to toe gushing blood on the walls, destroyed furniture, and even the carpet. Corey walked forward to Andre who looked at him but luckily recognized him. The two stood away from each other but Corey was more distraught than the Relentless Andre Holmes.
Andre Holmes
The fuck are you doing here?!
Corey Black
Tracking down the Yakuza but apparently that won't happen since they left these fucks.
Andre Holmes
Well, these "fucks" are the reason I'm this, and I'm going to make sure they fuckin' die.
Corey Black
Yeah, I got that when you made them a Trypophobia body. How the hell ya' managed to even get involved with the Yakuza?
Andre Holmes
...It's a long story.
Corey Black
Well, summarize it. I wanna' go home, and listen to sum' Taylor Swift.
Andre Holmes
Well...

Well...
Tuesday night, and Andre was already jogging down the Chicago Park District. Covering his body head to toe in complete black Reebok sponsored running gear, and that hoodie covering most of his head. Only his face, and rugged beard was exposed as he continued pacing himself while jammin' to some tunes on his Spotify playst; the volume of the earphones turned up to 50%. A lot was going through his mind during his daily jogging, easing his mind to think about his upcoming pre-main event match against Erin Fausse at #Beachmania. The icing on the cake, a No Disqualification match so he could play dirty just like she did in their tournament match. It's one thing to strip a man of a victory but to do so in a dishonorable way insults not only him/herself but the warrior they are meant to be.
The park was quiet, strolling down the sidewalk, and turning into a single path where the large trees, and streetlights mixed well together in the combination of both nature having a child with man's creation. After five miles of running, he cooled off by having a nice walk. Passing a couple of empty brown benches, watching the fishes mingle together in the lake, the beautiful gardens on each side with multiple varieties of plants, and flowers. He removed the hoodie from on top of his head, and took out his earphones, wrapping them until shoving them deep in his left pocket next to his phone. Andre felt successful, and at peace. A daily run always calmed his mind whenever he underwent stressful times...especially when your ex-wife comes back, and you sleep with her.
Andre Holmes
What in the world?
He narrowed his hazel eyes, and leaned his head forward for a better view of what's ahead. At the end of the path, it seemed like a woman was being dragged into the back of an SUV by three men dressed in black suits, not armed, and wearing black shades. The woman was only dressed in a white frock covering her but no underwear as she kept kicking, and screaming. Black hair messed up, a few bruises on her right arm, the men violently holding her down, and trying to throw her in the back.
Andre Holmes
Hey, what the fuck are you doing?!
Andre's loud outburst captured the attention of all three men, and the woman. One of the men nodded to their partner, and he stepped forward while Andre quickly closed the distance. The first guard went for a quick right jab into his face but I guess those years of MMA really paid off. His right arm just slipped past Andre's head as lowered, and diverted to the left using head movement, and countered with a scorching right uppercut into the solar plexes. His opponent didn't stand a chance. Hunching over like a horse until getting elbowed down in the back of his head, dropping to his face completely out in blank space. The other two men dropped the woman, and charged into Andre who stood there smirking, and tightened the strap on his gloves.
Andre Holmes
You idiots just made the biggest mistake of your lives.
The remaining two finally meet Andre, and the guard on his left throws a right jab that gets parried away while the other has a left uppercut tossed around. Andre uses that same arm from the second guard to leap up in the air, and bicycle kick the first behind his ear, letting him wobble on his knees, and force his vision blurry from the strike. Then quickly flipping the second with the same onto his back, and under-hooking before snapping the bone out of place. A loud crick is heard, and the guard screams in pain, legs flailing everywhere before another elbow is smashed on top of his head to put him to sleep. He got up, and approached the only remaining guard, grabbing him by the collar with both hands, and shoving him against a light post pole. The guard raised his hands in surrender but the heavy breathing, and dark tone of Andre intimatedhim more.
Andre Holmes
Give me a good reason why I shouldn't kick your little ass right now. Talk!!!
He whimpered, and stared into the deadly eyes of Andre who gritted his teeth, and pulled him closer by the collar.
Guard
Okay, I'll talk, I'll talk. We were going to take her to our base. She's needed for an experiment.
Andre Holmes
What experiment?!
Guard
I-
A bullet tore through the guard's head, splattering his brains on the concrete. Blood spitting on the face of Andre who jumped back on his ass, and looked at the guard's head nearly split open from the bullet leaking his brains out. He sat there looking at the guard with widened eyes, his jaw dropped, and heavy panting before trying to get away. Another bullet was fired through the right knee of Andre, stunning him, and dropping him down on his chest. Blood pouring from the open hole as it tore through the bone, and he was whimpering. Yelling out for help until being approached by a japanese man in a white suit with the Yakuza tattoo of the Inagawa-Kai family symbol on his neck.
Burraku Kai
Interesting. You will do.
Andre Holmes
Wha-?
Burraku kneeled, and smacked the butt of the gun against his forehead. Light's out, and down for the count. He was dragged into the back of the Black painted SUV, and drove off. So many things was rushing through his mind, his girlfriend, ex-wife, daughters, the fans of UCI. How did he find himself in this situation? The heart, and determination to help the innocents is truly something to admire but Andre was in a very bad predicament. His right knee has been shot, a harsh bruise on his forehead, and currently out of action. Time was passing by, and hours flew like nothing. Suddenly, a voice was ringing in his head. Ethereal, and echoing.
Burraku-Kai
Wake up...
The voice got louder, and louder.
Burraku-Kai
Wake up...
His vision was blurry, eyes fluttering to even stay open. Andre tried to move but couldn't, something was holding him still. After getting full vision back, he was locked in a chamber filled with water, and hooked on an oxyginator. Arms, and legs restrained by hooks embedded in the skin, and needles pointed in every direction to his nerve system. All his screaming was muffled, looking around the weird place he was trapped in. Numerous scientists in what could be seen as a two story building for experiments. A crowd of security armed with Uzi's in black suits, and black shades. Scientists managing very advanced controls, technology ahead of its time. Hazel eyes flickering around, and Burraku Kai stood in front of the box chamber. Only man to risk being in the field while everyone else was protected by the bulletproof glass surrounding it.
Burraku-Kai
I see you are awake, and confused. Mr. Holmes
Andre stared at Burraku who had that slick smirk on his face. The two never met yet Burraku stood before him in a perfect posture with his hands behind his back. Muffled screams were just being heard inside the chamber, and Burraku's smirk disappeared. All business. Very old, bald-headed. Wrinkles all over his bronze skin, and yet he was in charge over this entire operation. Dark blue eyes piercing into the hazel eyes of Andre who knew he was in deep shit.
Burraku-Kai
Mr. Holmes, I have to say I am impressed. I've never seen a man who has the sort of attitude, and character you do. Honestly, I've been praying for one of my men to muster up the courage to be as Relentless as you are. Oh? You seem to be confused Andre. Did you really think you would just live your life care free, and not expect others have their attention captured? You are truly a man most of the people in the black market or other syndicates would have to be on their side. We need warriors who show no emotion but brutality. Warriors who are able to do the mission, and think clearly. An example would be your friend Grayson Pierce who you put in the hospital when you refused to be at his side back in WCF.
Andre's muffled screams grew louder but Burraku only smiled.
Burraku-Kai
But there's always a flaw to the perfect warrior. Your ex-wife, Samantha Holmes. Your current, and pregnant girlfriend, Kaitlyn Curran, and not to mention, your children-
The hooks in his limbs were being yanked back, and forth as Andre was extremely livid that he dare spoke of his children. Burraku gave that slick smirk again until shaking his head.
Burraku-Kai
Kaitlyn, and Athena. Beautiful children, and I'm sure you are a tremendous father but we can't have any distractions can we? As soon as the procedure is over, they will be eliminated from your mind, and from your life...permanently. I wouldn't want to waste any more time, shall we begin? Commence procedure!
Burraku left Andre alone. Bashing his chain against the bulletproof glass as he's floating in that chamber, and screaming so loud that his red veins are popping out on his face, and throat. Burraku signals the scientists to begin the procedure, and they press a button on the computer starting the sequence. The syringes, and needles slowly move closer to his skin until impaling every part. Arms, legs, chest, his spinal cord, and even his face. His cranium, and through the tubes, a glowing greenish liquid that is seeped into his flesh, and blood stream. Andre is yelling at the top of his lungs, and the monitors display his heartbeat but also the percentage of how much serum is used.
Scientist
50% Serum used.
Sparks start flying from the generators, lights flickering. Andre's body is stiff, and vibrating from the pain coursing all over. His eyes widened, teeth nearly breaking from screaming so much. He's never felt so much pain but Burraku stood there without even blinking his eyes.
Scientist
100% Serum used. Transfer successful, and genetic alteration is in process.
Burraku-Kai
Full power.
Scientist
Sir?
Burraku-Kai
I said full power now!
Orders had to be followed, and the power was raised to full maximum capacity. Some of the equipment exploded as Andre's body started going under significant, and rapid changes. Muscles were being enhanced, body getting bigger, and now his eyes started glowing blue. A fire emerged on the upstairs, lights exploding, and flickering, machinery being destroyed, and the computer displaying a critical warning case.
Scientist
We're gonna lose him, he's not going to make it!
Eventually within a flash, the entire power was loss. The only thing spreading light was the chamber. Andre's body went limp, and his heartbeat monitor flatlining. Burraku didn't say much until turning his back to the shining chamber, and walking off until a beep was heard. Everyone stopped what they were doing, and looked at the chamber. The fire upstairs was put out but more beeps came on the heartbeat monitor. Andre's mind was blank until he heard voices. Voices of the people he loved.
Samantha Pryor
I'll always love you.
Kaitlyn Curran
I'm having your child, fight!
Serenity Holmes
You're my hero Dad.
...
Athena Holmes
GET UP DAD!
His heartbeat monitor kept beeping faster, and faster. The scientists started surrounding the console, the irregularity but Burraku stood back. Security ushered in as electrical surges, blue and bright, were streaming from the chamber to the destroyed machinery like a gravition field was created.
Scientist
Sir, we can't shut it down! Too much power generated like an electromagnetic field! Sir, sir?!
When they looked behind themselves, Burraku was already gone. Nowhere to be found. The scientists quickly commanded the security to open fire as they tried to escape but all exits were suddenly shut off. Metal doors slamming at each exit blockading them in. Guns, machinery, and everything metal circling his chamber like moons around Jupiter. Andre's eyes shot open, bright blue before unleashing a high pitched scream. The metal hooks tearing out of his flesh that quickly regenerated back to full health, and the bulletproof glass chamber disintegrated. Floating in the air with nothing on except his underwear, and every guard plus scientist was shocked in awe. They quickly rushed to the exit, and banged on it but Andre was never gonna let them out.
Andre Holmes
Die...
The underground facility erupted in an electromagnetic explosion. From the surface, it was just in the mountains where a hill collapses into the ground, and every scientist, and guard was buried with thousands of pounds of machinery, metal, and earth upon them. Only person to escape was Andre who was surrounded in this electromagnetic forcefield as he looked into the sweaty palms of his hands. His main target was still out there, and he took off to find him by accelerating the forcefield, and going into flight in the sky.
Andre Holmes
And that's pretty much what happened.
Corey Black
...So I purchased these guns for nothing?! The one fuckin' time I choose to get me sum' guns, and you kill dem' fuckers like dat'?! FUCK!
Andre Holmes
Oi! Forget about the guns, and focus. You said you been tracking Burraku down, well I need your help. If we work together, we have a better chance.
Corey Black
They are not gonna' like this.
Andre Holmes
Who's they?
Corey Black
The Guardians.
Andre raised his right eyebrow up, and Corey shrugged.
Andre Holmes
The fuck kinda name is that?
Corey Black
I voted for the Taylor Swift Gang but they wanted to sound like original fucks.
Andre Holmes
Uhh...
Corey Black
Look. I don' give a flying fuck what chu' want but if you want my help, you gon' need this.
He removes a communicator from the back of his belt, and handed it to Andre. Holmes stared at the little earpiece, and then back to Corey questioning this.
Corey Black
It'll signal ya', an' give you the location to our HQ. Keep dat' with you at all times or else I'll have my foot up yo' ass for makin' me look like a fraggin' fucktard. I'll see ya.
Andre Holmes
Alright but wha--
Corey didn't say anything else. He just ran, and leaped out the destroyed window leaving Andre to ponder what the hell is going on. However, walking down the aisle he removed his phone which had a private frequency only Guardians will have access too, and shot Polar a text.
"We need to talk, pronto."
--------------------------------------------------Corey Black was already on the verge of scoping out a high ranked member of the Yakuza who was already in Chicago for a business meeting.
