So, to improve show consistency, I figured I'd throw a question here in regards to when match deadline should be. With match writing being a bit of an issue lately, I'm here trying to look for the best fix possible.
If we go 5PM Monday deadline for match submission, the idea would be to have the time after that to pick up slack.
If we go 5PM Friday deadline for match submission (2 days before RP deadline), then we'd have that time to pick up slack.

Wait, do we mean the Monday after the Show posts, or the day after the match card goes up?
Are we moving overload to Monday or are we giving match writers one day? Teo just wants to clarify before voting lol.

The Monday solution would be to have a 5PM match writing deadline on Monday and get results up Monday night.
The Friday solution would be to have a 5PM match writing deadline on Friday to allow more time to unclaimed and unsubmitted matches written so that results get up on Sunday night.

The Friday solution would be to have a 5PM match writing deadline on Friday to allow more time to unclaimed and unsubmitted matches written so that results get up on Sunday night. But the Roleplaying Deadline stays the same, got it. Just giving the match writers a day after all the RP's are done instead of having to write both with the same deadline on Sunday. Which I always thought discouraged people from taking matches anyway. It is actually to your disadvantage to write your own match since you're doing the match and the RP. If you write a 3k word RP and 2500 match, your opponent writes a 5k RP, he technically gets more credit despite you writing more words overall.

I voted for Friday. I originally wanted to propose an earlier deadline for match writing, but even if we were to go with Friday, I still see many people waiting until Sunday because that's when the RP deadline is and they know the results won't be posted until hours after the RP deadline anyway.

Results need to go up Sunday. Taking a day away from RPing and writing is dumb.
If you can't write the rest of results, find someone who can handle the load (heheh) and make them fedhead. Stop thinking a roster is gonna write matches, they wont. (Plus I'm good for like 3-4 matches a week, you know this) The main fedhead needs to write main events and big matches anyway, thats how it should always work.
Youre already on a thin line of having two top stars (one #1 contender) working on much of the results as it is. #TransparencyPerspectiveCanBeAMotherFucker
Match deadline should be Sat, Rp deadline Sunday, results Sunday.
As for Teo, March Writing always gave a brownie point in choosing a winner in every other fed Ive been in. Creating content, contributing to an efed is (nearly) as important as cranking out RPs too. It shouldnt sway a close one or anything all the time, but it should be noted in the score tally for sure.

I'm trying to figure out ways to make things fluid here.

Make the matches snappy and short and to the point. The fact is, most people just want to know who won. I respect the work that goes into a lot of them, but we need to hit that deadline, and you can't do that and write 3k matches. Not happening.
500-1k tops. If you want to write a PPV epic, great. But make sure you can hit that deadline.

I'm just gonna take a ton of matches this week. As far as judging and weekend stuff goes, I'll be out of town with the family this coming weekend, so Price will take my place for that stuff. I'll have Beachmania's card typed up on my computer before that, so we're good there.
My bad if I jumped the gun on trying to change things around here, just searching for a way to make things more efficient.

It's not so much the system, just the implementation that needs a slight change. It's only month two, and look what we've achieved so far. Everything takes time to perfect. It's all good, boss.
