Ok so we have more specifics on the tournament. First of all, the first four matches will need writers, but due to the nature of the tournament, I will be writing the rest of the show. Second, I will be judging the entire thing. I figured I could give Spence a week off. Given this, I have opted to institute a 10k word limit on the RPs. It's for my own sanity. Anyway, that being said, let me talk a little about what I look for when I judge. First of all, shoot helps but it is not essential. If you can write an interesting enough story without mentioning the fact that you're a wrestler, you'll win, but given what we're doing, talking about the match helps sort of link it all together, so it helps with structure in my eyes. However, if all you do is shoot, and nothing actually happens to your character, that's going to bore me. Don't bore me. I do pay attention to grammar, punctuation and spelling. If you have a few mistakes it's not going to hurt you that much, but if I have trouble reading it because you can't grammar, it's going to hurt you. Knowing story structure really helps with me. If your story is stilted, weirdly paced, or nothing really happens, I'm going to notice. At the end of the day, the most weight goes to entertaining me. I don't have an exact point structure, so the point is just to make me like your RP. You can do that a lot of ways, but being boring is not one of them. I hope that helps anyone participating. Best of luck to you.

For those not aware, this will be taking place during a sort of "off week" for those not doing this tourney which will take place the week after Beachmania. I know people like their tourneys and various events, so this should be fun.
