(On the grounds of the old Chicago State Hospital lies the Asylum, unfortunately, the CSH could not live up to the demand for housing for the mentally ill. Overcrowding forced hundreds of patients to sleep in hallways, basements and attics, where conditions were inhumane and unsanitary. A lack of state funding and a general misunderstanding of certain mental illnesses led to allegations of mistreatment and violence, leading to patient suicides and escapes. These now haunted hallways are home for UCI up and coming star, Eli Young. After his sisters untimely death Eli sought refuge on the streets of Detroit. Having spent the last few years of his life honing his wrestling skills at the House of Truth. Eli Young has now set his sights on Chicago and climbing the ranks of the UCI.)
We're just a few days away from my UCI debut. The trials and tribulations I have faced in my life have made me into the man that stands before you. I've made peace with the demons of my past. It is those same demons that now drive me to become the best that I can be. My rise to the top of this company will be unstoppable. If only I could tell you what I have in store for the fans of the UCI. This will be the beginning of a new age of violence, a Hardcore Renaissance if you will. “A red sun rises. As for my first opponent Luke I've got just the spot for you. (Exodus brings a stretcher from the morgue, with a body bag already labeled for his next opponent.) Lucas where to start with you. A worthless excuse for human being. You human sack of shit. How a slob like you was ever hired on here at the UCI I will never know. Hopefully, you're willing to pay the price; to sweat, to bleed, and to suffer. I’ve made accommodations for you here at the Asylum. You should be honored to be the first of my victims. Lucas you will feel my pain, you will bear the cross. When the lights go out in Williams Arena in Minneapolis, Minnesota, I plan on burning that motherfucker to the ground.
