It's been a long day without you my friend so UCI is gonna be here when we see you again. Ah yes, we're back with another tale for the "Relentless" Andre Holmes whose coming off a great win against Wade Moor from Lazarus. After two weeks of losing to old rivals, he's managed to bounce back, and get his head straight in the game by defeating #BeachKrew former World Champion, Wade Moor. It's been a while since we've seen him in the ring, and that's due to the injury of his right leg. The doctors persuaded him to take a week off to recover, and let his right leg heal up. Now, it's back to a 100%, and Election Day is right around the corner. Woo! He's fired up, and the reactor is growing unstable. In Andre's career, the World Championship is ALWAYS top priority in his eyes. The UCI World Championship title shot is in the palm of not one but four other men. Chase Jackson, The Polar Phantasm, Jay Omega, and the defending champion himself, Crow McMorris. With a lot riding on the line, he has to stick to what he knows best, and that's being Relentless especially in the ladder warfare.
Home in Chicago, fans around the world were preparing for the biggest match so far in UCI history. Five main event players with incredible careers but only one will have the right to walk away as UCI World Champion. An amazing dream that can be reached but only the best can turn that dream into reality. UCI hosts the best in the world, and have proven that with its champions, and talent. It will continue to grow, and leave the scraps behind. What happened in Mexico may have deterred the wrestling fans of their hope but Chicago allowed UCI to be that shining beacon of glory. Reeling back the lost fans who thought it was all over but fortunately, UCI is never going anywhere.
Three o' clock in the evening on a Saturday, and Andre is walking down the side walk in the busy city. The streets were overflowed with yellow cabs aggressively shoving against each other to make a quick buck, pedestrians moving quickly to finish their agendas. Andre held his usual vanilla latte from Starbucks in his right hand, the cup half empty, and it was very sunny. Summertime by Kreayshawn was blasting in his earphones, listening to his Spotify playlist on his Galaxy S7 sponsored by T-Mobile. His training was usual, intense, and quick but rest is needed at all times to recover. Why not take a day to himself? Sure. A competitor must be ready but it's always better to train smarter, not harder. He continued on his path back to his car, and didn't really have much to do. To be honest, it was pretty boring being all alone in Chicago. Surely there has to be an old friend he could contact. Bonnie, and Demarcus were nowhere to be found, and UCI didn't really house much friends except for Scarecrow, and Howard who recently returned. It's been nothing but hell.
He bumped into a passerby, and she dropped her purse with her belongings spilling on the concrete. Andre removed his earphones, and felt guilty so he helped grabbing her stuff before anyone else damages it.
Andre Holmes
I'm so sorry, I didn't even see you.
?
Don't worry. It's okay.
No. That voice sounded all too familiar. Andre slowly grabbed the last item from her big, her ID, and looked at carefully. The two recognized it each other, and when they locked eyes, words couldn't escape their tongues for a few moments.
Andre Holmes
Samantha?
Samantha Pryor
Andre?
It's been six months since they've seen each other from the divorce. Andre quickly handed her her I.D, and Samantha got all her stuff back in her purse. The only two being stationery in the traffic of the sidewalk. Wow, it was a lot to take in at first. Andre looked her up, and down. She seemed way better than before. Hair is newly done, reverting back to her fully brunette roots, and curly too. Caramel skin glowing, and smooth. Beautiful hour glass body but dressed moderately with a white dress shirt, blue jeans, and black heels. Andre finally saw the wife he first married but neither could form any words. How could they? The last time they met, they got divorced, and Andre got full custody of the kids from her drinking problem.
Andre Holmes
Umm...how...where? How have you been?
Samantha Pryor
...I'm good. I've been really good.
They both chuckled...awkwardly. The setting was nice but the atmosphere between them was pretty intense.
Andre Holmes
Where are you heading?
Samantha Pryor
I'm on my way to get some food.
Andre Holmes
Oh...
Samantha Pryor
Do you want to come with?
Andre Holmes
Um sure.
Geez. Reading this, you definitely don't want to be in this situation. Number one rule of ex's, NEVER talk to them again so nice going Andre. Both him, and Samantha walked down the street on 76 NE Avenue to a local coffee-house like restaurant that served mostly sandwiches. A pretty relaxed, and very soothing environment on the corner of the business strip where the inside had multiple high rough tables, high black hairs, and even corner sections of couches, and glass tables to just relax. The northern section was barricaded off leaving a small hallway that lead to the bathroom facilities. Chandeliers in the middle, large television flat screens hung from the walls for entertainment, and even a bar section left to the northern barricade.
The two sat down around the round table, and they just decided to order coffee instead. Of course, they knew exactly what they would order hence why they both smiled at each other, and the waitress but no talk has been made between them. Samantha sat on her side playing with her thumbs, Andre just looked around, and kept awkwardly smiling back at her.
Andre Holmes
Sooooo....
Samantha Pryor
Sooooo.....
Andre Holmes
You look great.
Samantha Pryor
Thank you. So do you. Still workin' out I see.
Andre Holmes
Yeah. Life of an athlete.
Samantha Pryor
Yeah...
They both took a sip of their coffee.
Andre Holmes
What are you doing in Chicago?
Samantha Pryor
I live here now. I work here as a saleswoman.
Andre Holmes
Oh, that's nice. I'm glad to see you doing well.
Samantha Pryor
And your reason?
Andre Holmes
They opened a new wrestling company after what happened in Mexico. My friend, Spencer, hit me up, and I couldn't say no.
Samantha nodded. It had to be that reason. What else would it be? If Samantha was always supportive of him, it's his wrestling. It's what got them out of their struggles when she had Serenity at eighteen.
Andre Holmes
I don't know where to start. The way we ended last time--
Samantha Pryor
Please don't. Look. I moved on Andre. I'm happy, I haven't been drinking. I'm clean. You don't have to worry about me anymore, I've moved on, and lived with the mistakes I made. Only thing I would have done differently is at least ended on a good note, and not like how we did.
Andre Holmes
I'm happy. Umm. So do you mean by moving on, you've found someone else?
Samantha Pryor
No. I'm still single. I haven't been with anyone for six months now. You?
Andre Holmes
Uhh...I am. I'm currently in a relationship.
She looked away for a mere moment, and Andre didn't know how to feel.
Samantha Pryor
And your dau-- I mean. Our daughters?
Andre Holmes
They're fine.
Samantha Pryor
And your girlfriend has met them?
Andre Holmes
Yes.
Samantha Pryor
I gotta go.
She quickly got off the high black chair, and left the coffee house restaurant. Andre just sat there until dropping ten bucks on the table before marching after her. He quickly cut her off, and held onto her right arm gently to comfort her.
Andre Holmes
Hey. Listen. Umm. Why don't you come over next week? Dinner on me.
She looked away again, and then nodded. Maybe this was the better for the two to have closure. It was never right how they ended things in Houston.
Samantha Pryor
Okay. I'll call you.
She walked until stopping in her tracks. Samantha couldn't help it but she turned around, and walked back to him to plant a kiss on his cheek. Andre took it, and closed hie eyes savoring every moment of the kiss. From then on, she left him, and he went his separate way back to his car parked near the sidewalk before ironically receiving a call from Kaitlyn.
After the reunion with his ex-wife, now a lot on his mind has been increasing. What the hell just happened back there? He has a UCI World Title match to focus on, and now his ex-wife is in town. Certain emotions are going through him like wildfire but it's hard to channel that out of his tunnel vision especially with all the crazy memories of their marriage popping back up. However, next week will be the answer to everything but now it's time to really push forward on the agenda of being World Champion. Sitting down on his white couch in his apartment studio, the night was dark, and full of terrors. No, it was pretty beautiful with the city lit up, and the stars in the night. His Canon mini-camera was hosted on its tripod, and showing him in front of it with his blue shirt on, and black running shorts too.
"Relentless" Andre Holmes
So here we are UCI. Here we are. I'm finally sitting here again on this white couch that I need to clean tonight, and I'm back in action this Sunday at UCI: "Election Day". It's been a week now-- well two weeks to think about that I haven't really stepped foot back in the ring. For those of you that don't know, my leg wasn't doing pretty good so the doctors recommended I take a week off just to recover. No ligaments were torn or anything damaged. Just a few bruises that needed to be healed. So I'm back, and I'm one hundred, and ten percent but before I go into my usual bad-assery side, and unleash a war of words with my opponents. I want to say thank you. Thank you for the loving support from my fans who have stuck with me through thick, and thin but also I appreciate you guys even more because you chose me as one of the contenders to face Crow McMorris at Election Day for the UCI World Heavyweight Championship. Nothing else I could ask for in this world but my own fans trusting me to go into that match, and win? You guys continue to surprise me every day, and it is my honor that I oblige by your wishes, and make them come true. You've rubbed your hand on the golden bottle, and now the geenie will give you your wish.
But this match is more special than it played out to be. Not only will the World Title be contested but it's in a LADDER WARFARE. One of my favourite matches, and some of my best rivalries have ended with that match. I'm not new guy to high impact matches but a ladder warfare nearly ended my career twice in my old companies. It's literally human flesh voluntarily stepping into the match where steel can break your bones or even worse, break your spirit. You have to be mentally strong when fighting in that match; One mistake and everything could end within a heartbeat. I've seen men walk into that match, and come out as someone else. I'm not talking about the scars, the cuts, or even the torn flesh. Injuries will come, and go but the damage to your mind? That is almost impossible to take away. I'm not telling you this because it sounds cool, it's the truth! Every man fears being told they cannot continue in Professional Wrestling. Many athletes were cut short of the big leagues because of these kind of matches. One thing you never want to do is leave it all in the ring, and then can't come back but for this night, it's a specialty.
The UCI World Championship is going to be on the line, and every man in that match will do ANYTHING to climb up that ladder, and take the title down. The biggest prize in UCI history, and the greatest championship in the world is being hunted day, and night by the best talent in the world. When you see that championship hanging from the balance, you don't care what happens to the others. You don't care about the careers you finish, only thing on your mind is the World Championship. It's every man for himself, and only one man will walk out as UCI World Champion, and I can guarantee you that man will be me.
I've faced friends, enemies, every one. Name anyone you can think of, the type of wrestler I've faced. I've been there, and I've done that but what makes me come out on top is that no matter what happens, I will ALWAYS continue to wrestle another day. Being Relentless tests my limits, and I continue breaking them. When you think I am down, I get right back the hell up. I'm kicked down, I'll get up again, and kick harder. A true champion doesn't beat competition at his best, he beats them at his worst, and for me, this is my worst. Compare my performance from WCF, I've been slacking off. I've been down than ever, and even took a week off to reassess what the hell is going on. In order to build, you have to break things down. The house I built on in UCI was the foundations of sand washed away by the rude awakenings only for me to now build that same house again upon the rock, and my rock will stay strong with the UCI World Championship.
This is what I've always down in my career. For thirteen years, I've struggled with my daughters, my ex-wife, travelling the world to put food on their plate, and now I'm here successful after a long journey. They have a beautiful home, great education, transportation, they're privileged to be an upper class member of society because of what? World Championships under my belt. People like to say I'm selfish, I'm doing this to fit my satisfaction, and my hunger. No. As long as my daughters are alive, well, and have more than enough resources to be the best they can be, that is my sole purpose to stay World Champion wherever I go. Don't get me wrong. I long to be World Champion until I die. It's what every wrestler wants, and if they don't want it, they're a waste of time. No disrespect to my homeboy Teo but it's how I fight.
"Relentless" is a name I gave to myself. It's how I've gotten my success but these men who will face me in the ring have all done their way of becoming World Champions in the past. The Polar Phantasm. We've faced before in UCI for the first time, and that was the opening round of the UCI World Title Tournament against Kyle Kemp in the Triple Threat. He's always been the man to talk about with his crazy adventures, great personality but also his inspiring career. Friends with Jay Omega too. The Guardians as they call themselves, and even friends with my sorority sister, Bonnie Blue. Do I have respect for this man? Of course as a person but I don't respect anyone as a competitor. Harsh as it sounds, this isn't the time to be best buddies when the World Championship is on the line. The Polar Phantasm isn't World Title material, he never was the moment he stepped into the company. Polar is just a placeholder in this match because he won off popularity when it actually didn't matter.
I said it before, and I'll say it again. His reputation can almost be known to startle a few people but in the ring, he's the average joe. There's nothing special about him like the other men in this match. They all crave to be World Champion but none of them have that killer instinct to sit back down, and beat the shit out of their opponents until they can never get up again. Jay Omega couldn't pull the trigger when he faced Crow McMorris for the World Championship at Lazarus. Well done Jay. Will you, and Polar work together to increase your chances of winning the World Title? You better tell me no because you'll just be short sighting yourself of the proposed competitor you say to be. Wentworth was right to screw you over, you don't have the World Title material unlike me. Both you, and Polar are just in it to be recognized but for Jay Omega, this is redemption. He thinks the World Title was in his clutches but what happens if he loses this match? Will the championship always slip through his fingers?
I know what losing can do to a man. Erin did it to me. That's why Jay, Polar, and Chase want to beat Crow, and get the World Title. All of us except for Crow has lost, and done so embarrassingly that a win over the champion would propell us to the ky. CROW IS WORLD CHAMPION BECAUSE HE'S UNDEFEATED, AND BEAT THE BEST! That is World Championship but he HAS NEVER BEATEN ME.
I'm the best. I know it in my heart, and deep within my own soul. I mean. I'm the best in the ring, backstage, commentary, ring bell, announcing. You name it. I've always been the best from day one, and now I understand the power I have in my veins to overpower every man in this match. Jay, and Polar can focus with their Code Lyoko little stuff, and leave the wrestling to the big dogs which are me, and Crow. Chase is just a puppy who is trying to be the alpha but he's all bark, and no bite. What has Chase done anyways? You lost to Crow McMorris and you lost to Jay Omega who BEAT YOU to advance into the finals. Chase. Are you serious? That could have been you Chase. You handed Jay the keys to let Crow win. It's because of you that Crow is the World Champion. You single-handedly made Crow the first ever UCI World Champion, and now you're back because you couldn't even beat Erin Fausse fair, and square. Woah. She had to cheat to beat me but she did so easily in beating you down, you never had a chance? Ever since then, you haven't been relevant. Sucks. Your spiraling down into the drain, and managed to get the fans to vote you in the World Title much as a pity party.
But that's okay. All these men in this match are equal. They all don't have the necessary traits to be the World Champion after their performances but some of you will say I don't either after losing to Erin Fausse, and Thursday Kerrigan but I bounced back by defeating Wade Moor. I'm back on my "Relentless" shit man for a damn good reason. Out of touch for two weeks, and I've been losing but now that I'm back on. What is there to stop me? Omega couldn't beat Crow. Chase couldn't beat Omega or Crow. Polar needed help from Omega, and couldn't beat me? The only real targets in this situation are myself, and Crow McMorris.
But speaking of Crow McMorris. I'm going to be honest with you. I actually like you as a competitor because you have honor, and you're just like me. We both step into that ring, and don't give a flying fuck about what we do to each other because we respect our abilities, and what we have to do. It's the boundaries of Professional Wrestling. You step into that ring, and leave it all in there to walk out World Champion so congratulations on beating Jay given the extra help from Wentworth. You're undefeated. You defeated Wade Moor just as I did, Omega, everyone in your path has fallen. Bonnie Blue, and Chase Jackson. You're the man, THE MAN! But what happens when THE MAN meets a RELENTLESS BASTARD?! He falls off his high horse, the man becomes the bitch. We've never faced but now our first time in the ring will be surrounded by hundred pounds of steel with the World Title hanging above us just teasing our hunger, and greed.
I work best when there is gold. World Championships has always been on my mind, and I have always had that caliber in my training, and in my performances Crow. You don't know what its like to have a child at eighteen, and another one at twenty five who need to be fed every night. I work my ass off to ensure my kids, and my family are secured lifetime, and I do this because I AM ADDICTED TO THE UCI WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP CROW! I am addicted to it, it fills my lungs up with hope, and glory that I can walk inside the WAREHOUSE, and raise that gold very high to my loyal fans who have been with me through day one. If you think I am scared of anyone or anything in this match, you just better stop fucking right there because the only thing I'm afraid of is spiders. I hate spiders but thankfully none will be in this match.
What I'm trying to say for everyone. It's all about to come to an end, especially for you Crow. You have what I want, and how I get what I want isn't pretty. I'm a rude child in the ring, I see red, and I destroy all. I don't care if you were my friend or foe, the UCI World Championship is the ONLY thing that matters to me. That title around your waist signifies who is the best in the world but until I win that, no one will believe me so this Sunday I will walk into UCI: Election Day, and fight four other men to be the next UCI World Champion. They don't call it Ladder Warfare for a reason. It's war, each side bringing their tanks, their weapons but Andre Holmes will be dropping on nukes on their country. Polar Phantasm, Jay Omega, Chase Jackson, and Crow McMorris. I wish you good luck, and even if we win or lose. We should always remember one thing.
No matter what, UCI wins.
