Special video uploaded to UCIwrestling.com by Bobby 'G.O.A.T' Robinson
When the video starts we can tell that it was shot with Bobby's cell phone.
Bobby: Hey everyone it's I the 'G.O.A.T' Bobby Robinson. I'm in my hotel room getting ready for my big match this week.
Bobby smiles.
Bobby: So you see me my boy Apollo and the big man are each getting a shot as old Spence is making little miss 'Out of This World' defend her title against the three of us gauntlet style.
Bobby chuckles.
Bobby: Poor girl doesn't know what she's in for. You see just between us...I already know who's walking out with that belt.
Bobby winks at the phone.
Bobby: I mean don't get me wrong the boss man is 'Best In The World' for a reason, but I know where his attention is going to be.
Bobby smiles.
Bobby: Don't believe me just look at our twitter. When mister UCI Kevin Bishop ran his mouth about how he was the big dog in this place James told him to step up or shut up.
Bobby starts to tap his chin in mock confusion.
Bobby: And what was his response again?
Bobby snaps his fingers.
Bobby: That's right he ran his mouth a little bit more than ran off to that...whatever he is Corey Bull and formed a tag team to fight against the tag team champions because he knew James would have made him look like a stupid idiot. Don't get me wrong now James knows darn good and well that it would have been a war between the two.
Bobby smirks as he shakes his head.
Bobby: But let's face it he calls himself the best for a reason. So yeah the boss man will be keeping his eye on that main event and watching the idiots try and act like they are the best in this place. As for my boy Apollo...he could beat her but I'm sure me or him will get her first and as long as I face her before Apollo I'll be taking that belt off the poor girl.
Bobby stretches out his back before he continues.
Bobby: Don't get me wrong she holds that title because she has some talent. She's good...maybe even great...but she's not me.
Bobby smiles.
Bobby: I am the 'Greatest Of All Time' and when I hit her with the 'G.O.A.T' Knee or the 'G.O.A.T' Splash no matter how much fight she has in her she won't be kicking out.
Bobby laughs.
Bobby: I'm sure she'll make you all believe she has a chance, that she can pull off the impossible in this uphill battle because she's the underdog.
Bobby just shakes his head.
Bobby: And see if this were a movie...well this would be the end where after all the hardships and trauma she had gone through to prove herself and claim that title would culminate in her greatest victory beating the three of us one after the other until that bell rang and she was proclaimed the winner.
Bobby smiles.
Bobby: That's how a movie would end...but in the real world things don't happen the way we would like them too. You see in the real world the slimy conniving villain claims victory leaving the poor wannabe hero laying defeated and unable to understand where they went wrong. So L Verez when you lay there on that mat barely understanding what just happened to you and I...let me repeat this for you...I am announced as the new Hypermedia Champion don't feel bad because you can lay there and slip into the sweet sleep of unconsciousness knowing you gave it your best.
Bobby looks dead serious.
Bobby: You can say you tried your hardest and were beaten...because unlike you...I am part of...the...Gold Standard.
Bobby raises his right fist in to the air as the look in his eyes screams at the intensity behind them and his resolve to claim victory in his first match.

L Verez sits on a tree, in what seems to be a meadow, shading her from the blinding sun rays surrounding it and her, her Hypermedia title resting on her shoulder. Her wounds, somehow, are mostly healed by this point, though you can see some light scars from the glass shards that pierced her skin. So is the price she pays for being so insistent on facing the likes of the “King of All Wrestlers” Corey Black. Winning the title for her was worth the price. But now she has a new obstacle ahead of her, known as “Gold Standard”. She faces all three members in a gauntlet match this Sunday. So here she sits. No Vincent, no Zima’Ion, no one seemingly by her side. Just the new Hypermedia Champion and her thoughts running through what lies ahead of her title reign.
It seems that I’m paying the price for the Guardians’ actions as of last week, though all I did was speak my peace and announce my open challenge match. But now I’m faced with all three members of this brand new faction known as “Gold Standard”. I remain perseverant though. The Hypermedia Championship is finally in the hands of a warrior that’s willing to climb the highest of mountains, no matter how steep or jagged that climb may be. I don’t exactly agree with how my comrades have been going about their issues as of late, and it may have gotten me to this difficult spot, but I believe they have a plan that will prove worthwhile. I’m optimistic that I will be ready for Gold Standard, and that I will retain my title. Just like many people I’ve faced, including the intruder that previously carried the title that I now hold, they suffer the same weakness that those many others have. They allow their ego to flood their very minds.
One of the men I look to face is a man named Bobby Robinson., who actually looks a bit familiar to me. He reminds me of someone I faced back in the beginning of my UCI tenure. Some may remember the name Calvin Harris. He was Rising Stars Champion at the time, back when the Division was much different. Later on, he won the Intercontinental Championship. Do you know what happened to Calvin Harris? He lost twice, and then tucked his tail and ran. After losing in a tag team match against Alex Richards and yours truly, due to walking out on his own partner, and then losing against Zombie McMorris, he relinquished his Intercontinental Championship, and ran off into the sunset. He realized that he wasn’t unbreakable. That he would never again be the undefeated champion he always boasted about being. The latter part is what faces Bobby Robinson, as well as the rest of Gold Standard.
Gold Standard has come in with such a big chip on their shoulder, and they haven’t even had a match yet. It’s like Allen Walker divided into three much more generic competitors looking to try and take what the UCI talent has been clawing and striving for. They want to take Spencer Adams’ spitefulness for granted, so they can ease their way into a title victory. That isn’t going to work on me. I don’t care how many people I face, I’m going to scratch, claw, fight, to survive, defeat, and conquer any and all who try to take what is mine. I literally started from the bottom of the barrel here in UCI, being stuck in multi match after multi match, until my voice was finally heard, and my talent was seen and admired. I came to UCI to earn the success that I now have.
Bobby Robinson is just a generic face in a group of other generic faces. He proves to be the same as the rest of the newcomers that underestimate the stature that is UCI. Walking in talking up a big game. Says they’re going to beat everyone, and take all the gold. But once they realize that they’re in way over their head, they tuck their tail and run. It’s a cycle that seems to happen a lot. Bobby is another that will fall victim to this. He calls himself the Greatest of All Time, but I have a couple issues with this. First off, you’ve only been in smaller feds attempting to make a name for yourself. This automatically nullifies your claim of being the GOAT, due to not having bested any bigger, more well known talent. Second, your two adversaries also claim to be the best. You can’t have three people claiming to be the best individuals, when in the human mindset, there is only one GOAT, one Best in the World, one true top guy. Three people that all believe that they’re the best, that all have such a massive ego, but want to be a unit, is bound to collapse before they get to the heights that they feel they deserve to get to. It’s just not a formula that will work in their favor.
L rises from the sturdy tree. She escapes the shade, letting the sunlight beam onto her odd, glowing skin, as well as allowing her title belt to shine.
I’m the UCI Hypermedia Champion. I’ve worked much too hard to let some egomaniacs that want to shortcut their way through the wrestling industry that this away from me. I’ve come to fight, and I’ve come to win. So bring your A game, because I’m going to bring even more than that.

Greetings everyone! Zima’Ion here, taking over for Vincent. He’s a bit busy debating with L about becoming a wrestler. We’re at L’s training facility, where we’ve just finished a training session. L is carrying her small panda in her arms. I’m really curious as to how, because it’s been getting quite large, due to the special diet L has it on.
L Verez: Are you sure you’re ready for New Blood Wrestling, Vinny? I can give you a couple more training classes, to help you brush up a bit more.
Vincent: I’m ready, L. It may be rough, but I’ll improve overtime. I assume Zima and I will still be training in the meantime.
L Verez: Most definitely. I want you guys to continue to learn and grow as you go on your quest for the brass ring.
Vincent Walker: And will Wade still be assisting us along the way?
Almost on cue, Wade makes his presence known. He and L have been bonding quite well as of recently. Wade has most definitely been there for L during her recovery, after sustaining her injuries from the Cabin in the Woods match.
Wade Moor: Yes, my young padawan. I will still help alongside L, but the training sessions will most likely be a bit more scarce, due to both of us returning to the ring.
L Verez: I still feel you need to work on a bit more kinks though, Vin. Just to make sure you’re completely ready for New Blood.
Vincent: I’ll be fine, L! I’ve improved a lot, have I not!?
L Verez: Umm… Wade, can you give us a moment?
Wade Moor: Yes, of course. Don’t let me stop you from anything.
Wade goes back to what he was doing, as L has a heart to heart with Vince.
L Verez: Is this because of your confrontation with your brother? I know he’s made your time with your dad very difficult, but you can’t be so hasty about starting your wrestling career.
Vincent: Well… yes, a bit. I’ve always blamed my father for my leaving, because he always seemed to expect so much from me and treat me harder due to that. It’s not until my return to Oxford that I’ve realized that it’s due to Allen’s stranglehold to my father that he always treated me as such. I’ve just had enough of his dictatorship. I want to remind him that he’s not the king of everything. He needs off his pedestal and soon.
L Verez: Vin… You can’t let emotions be your demise. I understand what you want, but you have to be sure that you’re ready to face him before taking him on.
Vincent: Well, you had a bit of a rough start yourself, haven’t you?
L Verez: That’s different. I already had fighting experience before going to UCI. Climb the ladder before facing your brother. As cocky as he is, he’s a big name for a reason.
Vincent: Alright… Let’s get to training then, shall we?
