I couldn't think of a better subject.
With hearing about ric Flair being hospitalized and getting surgery it got me thinking about wrestlers dying and the effect it has on us the fans.
We watch these people who are essentially superheroes just die. They disappear off TV and then they die. so fucked up. Even in comic books even if they die they always come back or something.
Even more in real life, in the past few years Scott Weiland, Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell dying, all three bands that I've been listening to and have been very influential in the music I used to create, all have died as well.
However, even though all these people I've watched from when I was a little kid die off I feel little emotion about it. This is a personal thing, I'm sure normal people feel more emotion about it.
Brief Background- My dad died when I was very young. I think this has to do with my apathy towards people I don't know dying.
But when Roddy Piper died it really got to me. He was the one where I teared up hearing about it, and I was cooking an event at someone's house when I heard so I had to pick myself up and continue working.
Got me thinking. As morbid as it may be. What wrestler death effected you the most?

I think initially the Chris Benoit death hit me really hard, I remember the day of, the details were very scarce so I think everyone was extremely confused and emotional during the next few days. I remember shedding some tears, it's ok, it's natural. Thereaputic as well.
Eddie Guerrero got me as well. If you want to see a grown man cry, just turn on the Eddie Guerrero tribute RAW and I'll fuckin soak up a little.

The two most recent deaths that hit me the hardest were Robin Williams, Leonard Nemoy, and of course, Roddy Piper.

Probably the American Dream, hence why I dedicated my whole poetry month challenge to him the other year.
