I honestly always took match of the week like this. Like, I always took it as the writer wrote an awesome match. Clearly, I am looking at it wrong lol.

Yeah, to be clear, Match of the Week goes to the most hotly contested match RP wise or at least one I thought to be close and worthy of a "great job to both of you"
