Boston Massachusetts Saturday October 15th.
The members of the U.S.A. women’s hockey team arrive at a huge estate, to attend a charity event for breast cancer awareness, all the team are excited except for Karlie, who hates these formal events, but considering the cause she went. They are welcomed inside by servants, and they enter a large reception area, filled with celebrities, dignitaries, and other athletes, Karlie walks over the one of the tables where the silent auction items are, one of the items is a practice with team U.S.A, Karlie is looking at the other items and a woman who is also looking at the items smiles at her.
Woman: So anything you're interested in bidding on.?
Karlie: I don’t think I can afford to bid on any of these items, out of my price range unfortunately.
Woman: Well there's definitely a few things I’m interested in.
Karlie: Well good luck then.
Karlie then walks over to another side of the room. A while later a servant walks over to her.
Servant: Miss Linda, would like you to come sit with her.
Karlie didn’t know who the Linda person was and certainly wasn’t going to sit with someone she didn’t know.
Karlie: You tell Miss Linda I decline.
Servant: You must understand, Miss Linda doesn’t take no for answer.
Karlie: Well she’s going to now, so go tell her I decline.
The servant walks away nervously, she talks to Miss Linda, then walks back over to Karlie.
Karlie: You again.
Servant: Miss Linda would like to know what you require to come sit with her.
Karlie: Listen I know you're only doing your job, but I’m not interested in sitting with Miss Linda, you know what tell her this, if she wants me to sit with, have her come over here and ask me herself.
The servant walked mumbling something to herself, she walked over to Miss Linda, they spoke then Miss Linda stood and walked over, Karlie was mingling with some member of the Bruins, when she heard a voice behind her.
Woman: I give you credit miss, most people just give me what I want.
Karlie: Well I’m not most people.
Karlie turns around and it's the woman she had spoken to briefly earlier.
Woman: My name is Linda, I would like it very much if you would come a sit with me.
Karlie took a moment to check Linda out.
Karlie: I’m Karlie
Linda: Well then Karlie, will you come sit with me.
Karlie again checked Linda out, she was definitely beautiful that’s for sure.
Karlie: Okay, I’ll sit with you.
Karlie and Linda walks over to her table and sit down, the servant brings two glasses of wine and places them on the table.
Linda: So tell me about yourself.
Karlie: My life’s actually pretty boring, I travelled a lot as a kid, while my dad was in the army, but I grew up in Detroit, but I live in Minnesota.
Linda: So what do you do for a job?
Karlie: Well I split my time between being a Conservation officer with the department of Fish and Wildlife, professional wrestling and of course playing with team USA
Linda: That’s quite a handful.
Karlie: Yeah, but I manage somehow.
Linda and Karlie continue to talk, Karlie is pulled away briefly to take a picture with the girl who had won the team practice thing, then goes back and sits with Linda.
Karlie and Linda start hitting it off, and Linda places her hand on Karlie’s knees. Karlie wants to remove Linda's hand but doesn’t.
Linda: So, Karlie how about we continue this somewhere a little more private.
Karlie: I don’t the owner would like us sneaking around their place.
Linda: I don’t the owner will, considering I’m the owner of this estate.
Karlie: You're the owner, well in that case, maybe a little privacy will be fine.
Karlie and Linda get up from the table, and walk down a long hallway, then walk up a flight of stairs to a door that opens into a large bedroom, Karlie and Linda enter.
Some time later a knock comes later, Linda opens the door to a servant standing outside.
Servant: All of your guest have left Miss Linda, is there anything else you need.
Linda looks back at the bed.
Linda: No I have everything I need for this evening, you're excused.
Servant: Thank-You Miss Linda.
Linda then closes the door.
Meanwhile Karlie’s teammates are wondering where she is. Hayley get’s a text from Karlie saying that something came up and she had to leave and she would meet them later at the hotel.
