We're fine if it's like Tinychat or FB or something. Hell, I vent a lot. It's how you air out shit and insure that you come to the actual boards with a more positive attitude sometimes I think. We're doing fine here though and I know we'll all continue to do great things. To the next world, one that I know we can make a success for years to come.

I can't really speak for my fellow Guardians, but from my perspective, now that our short introductory series has concluded, there will be no further mention of WCF whatsoever in my work going forward. Perhaps vague allusions to "the previous reality", depending on what characters/storylines we salvage and retool, but nothing explicit. Point is, we've presented an IC explanation as to how our characters are dealing with the continuity shift, which has hopefully demonstrated that we are firmly in UCI's camp. We felt it appropriate to not only introduce ourselves to this new world, but to also say farewell to the previous one. Could it be seen as incendiary? Probably. But I have faith that Seth at least would recognize that wasn't our intention.
Henceforth, I shall endeavour to only paint the fourth wall, not break it. Though there will still be some internal things, such as Omega speaking with his narrator, or the narrator making comments to the reader. But no direct, character-based breakage.

From my perspective, what happened down in México should stay down in México. I think it is fine to use what happened for character development up to a point. That is unavoidable because we all were passionate about the place of old and our characters. The way that Polar, Bonnie, and Jay expressed their own personal experiences was with class and respect. I commend them for it. But with all do respect to this organization and the new people that have joined, it should become a dead issue soon enough. I don't think anyone new or old needs to hear a rehashing of what happened in detail moving forward, they can go to the place of old and see it for themselves. I was there, so I have no inkling to see what's happening there in its aftermath. I just don't care anymore. I won't disrespect the place of old, I've just moved on. Now, I put out a couple of "tweets" on the @handsomehalf-breed twitter account referring to escaping México without going into detail of what went on for my character development purposes. That is far as I will take it in IC and in OOC. I am here because I respect every single one of you and hopefully vise versa? Thank you all! "The Incident in Mexico" is purely an idea a few of us are spitballing around for the sake of adding some mystery to a few people switching characters to less prominent guys (Me, Flash, Price, etc.) while giving a reason why these characters "disappeared" while leaving a door open for cameo returns. It will NOT be a rehashing of WCF drama. That said, I can't go into crazy detail about this nor will it be definitive canon forced upon anyone. A few of us are working on a special project for UCI which will be a novel (and optional) twist for those who wish to participate; this is a piece of that. Again, I can't go into detail without spoiling anything, but I'm incredibly excited to make an announcement on this within a week or so. I meant no disrespect to you and the others that are spitballing ideas for "The Incident in México". It is a great idea. I know that none of you will rehash WCF drama. That wasn't my point.

I understand your point; after a few months it won't seem relevant. I've always felt good storytelling requires comprehensive history; there's no such thing as "not relevant", even if typical wrestling writing tends to be incredibly short term. Again, I can't go into much detail and this stuff we're rolling around is optional, but it'll be content which caters to writers who are looking for a more storytelling-slanted experience. I'll have some information soon.

To be fair, nobody here has really been out of hand in any major way in regards to out of line shit or anything, so we're all fine on that front. It's more or less just pushing the code I think we want to see here. You're all great though. Keep on keepin' on.

I dont like what Polar posted IN wcf. I'm sorry bro but it wasnt cool. That place is trying to start over just like this place and that post there was like a big fuck you to the people who decided to stick around there and Seth. And whether youre at both places or sticking here and not wcf, there is no reason for stuff like that to happen.

I can understand how it could be interpreted in that manner, especially considering... well, everything.
That said, it's done. I said goodbye the only way I really could think to, and yeah- I can totally understand how I might look like an asshole for doing it.
It's just where the story took me. It's not going to happen again. Hell, it'll probably get deleted off the WCF boards just based on the fact that I'm not there anymore. Nothing I can do about that.
Leaving WCF was a choice I made. Writing roleplays is a choice I make. Feeling bad about writing that promo is a choice I refuse to make. I put in a lot of time over there, and I wanted my opinion heard; rather than making OOC noise about it, I decided that I'd try and relate my feelings in character. And I did. If I'm wrong for having done that, then so be it- I can live with being wrong today.
I just can't live with being silent. Sorry if that got you salty, man- you're one of my favorite people in this place, and it hurts me that I upset you. But I did what I did because I felt it; for better or worse, that's life.

Yeah, people have quit WCF in much worse ways than that. I don't think the promo even said anything too harsh, to be honest, but that could just be personal feeling coinciding with what I read on the page.
Could he have kept it off WCF? Yeah, maybe.
That probably happened in an alternate reality somewhere.

It's pretty mild and understandable considering what all went down. I kinda see everyone's point of view honestly. Just an odd situation. Really was a bad breakup for a lot of us.

I've always wondered what Elephants actually thought of that saying as the title suggested.
