Hey y'all. We all have musical tastes that venture outside what we usually listen to, and often it can surprise people. For instance, I have a weird thing for early-mid 90's alt rock. Something about the cheesiness of bands like Soul Asylum and New Radicals speaks to me. Also Alanis Morissette is everything. How about you?

Funkadelic or Barry Manilow would probably be up there.

Do we count guilty pleasures?
Let me start the embarassment!
Trust me, whatever you're about to say, I know. I was a dumb high schooler and nostalgia!

I'm primarily a metalhead - power, speed, fantasy, and combinations thereof mostly - but when I'm six pages deep in my writing, you're more likely to find me listening to K-Pop. Man do I love those unintelligible but upbeat Asians; they really help me stay focused, so long as I don't start watching the accompanying videos. Once that happens, it's all over, and I'm lost adrift a sea of colourful weirdness, sexy chicks, and guys androgynous enough that it's only kind of weird to... uh, never mind about that. Point is, K-Pop rules.

Does One Direction and two Justin Bieber songs count? To me that is surprising. Well, One Direction, probably not. I quite like their music, but I never ever thought that I would enjoy a Justin Beiber song. Let alone two. So, that is about as surprising as it gets for me lol.

Its hard to really pick anything that would surprise people, because I tend to be really forward about it. I constantly post the weird shit I find...
I guess what I can say is we have Pop Punk night in dubtrack every once in a while and I kind of enjoy it unironically.
