Character Name:
Andre Jenson
Nickname:
The destroyer of Goblins, Bane of Undersund, King of Kem, AJ.
Hometown:
The fantastical island of Kem. (an Island he purchased for the purpose of LARPing - it used to be a huge nature reserve)
Height:
283 Kleps (3.6 Klep is one inch)
Weight:
15.75 Kweps (12.7 lbs is 1 Kwep)
Alignment:
Face
In-Ring Style:
Whatever works, the dice decide what he's going to do next - even he doesn't know. Officially it's a hybrid of technical, high flying and striking moves. He does also try power on occasion, but only after drinking a strength potion from the cooler by ringside.
Bio:
Born Andreas Tobias Jenson into the wealthy Jenson family of business owners and generally elite people, AJ led a life where he could grow up in his own personal fantasy land. His parents were frequently away and he could just do what he wanted, which was mainly dungeons and dragons and LARPing. He hasn't grown out of this.
After the death of his parents in a freak boating accident in the mainly landlocked and totally not boat worthy State of Nebraska (something that he's never been able to get to the bottom of) AJ inherited the family businesses, which comprised of the ten biggest tech companies in the world, valued at well over $98bn. He quickly allowed the businesses to run as the execs see fit, keeping himself the chairman and owner without the need to really do anything. Leaving him to follow his life in the fantasy land of Kem. (An island also inherited by the family, which used to be a nature reserve.)
AJ has always been happy coasting along, until one day he found a map - a map to the lost city of Mirrors - the only magical city remaining on this realm. AJ became fascinated with the idea of bringing real magic back to the Earth after watching Harry Potter and thinking all kids should go to school like that. After a great quest, he found the realm and was given some magical gifts to bestow on who he saw fit. Along with a quest to bring back to the city some treasure and redeemed souls. Upon doing this, the mages of the lost city of Mirrors would teach him the secret to bring all magic back to this realm.
Now he finds himself in UCI - attempting to get the gold and redeeming the souls necessary to complete his quest. He found the place on an online advertisement asking for warriors. He has arrived.
Attire:
AJ is a warrior mage by trade, so he tends to wear a combination of cloth tunics and leather armour. Sometimes he rocks out his full metal armour, but only when he needs to impress someone. When he fights, he prefers a simple grey and white tunic/jerkin combination, some boiled leather pants and boots. A silver inscription on his pants, looking like elven font meaning "wise" shows down the outside of his right thigh.
Theme song:
Cranius - Big Blue Dress
Pic Base:
Eric from the Knights of Badassdom
Entrance:
A deep voice booms from the PA system "In the world of the fantasy land of Kem begot a new type of warrior, one which was created from the fires of the star Elume and forged in the great battles of the third age. A warrior so daring and so brave that King Dennis the maker himself would try to destroy him and fail. This man is more than man, he is legend"
Big Blue Dress by Cranius begins to play as mist slowly rolls up the entrance ramp while Andre Jenson appears from behind the curtain. Andre looks around to the crowd with a huge smile, waving to both the left and right side of the ramp. He then beckons to the back and 4 other similarly clad LARPers emerge, flanking him. They look like a classic dungeon party. The big man, wearing full armour and holding a shield and sword takes position in front, while the tiny elf, dressed in green druid like clothing takes the rear, waving his staff in the air. The other two, a woman wielding a bow and a rather scary looking hairy beast wielding an axe take position either side of Jenson.
Jenson makes some waving movements with his hands and shouts something to the ceiling and they all start moving forward, seemingly satisfied.
When they get to the ring, AJ again makes some gestures and they stop, he shakes hands with each one of them, before pulling up the apron and grabbing a money pouch from under the ring. He gives each of the party a coin, and they take a defensive stance. He grins and then rolls under the bottom rope into the ring, while fishing out a couple of d20 dice and rolling them. He then nods as if acknowledging the results and shakes the referee's hand, forearm to forearm. After this, he climbs each of the middle turnbuckles in turn and looks like he casts a spell on each one of them with hand gestures and some reagents from his pouch.
Favorite moves:
Spinning Heel Kick
Suicide dive over the top rope
Cloverleaf submission
Belly to Belly suplex
Clothesline in the corner
Elbow drop from the top rope
Snake eyes
Missile drop-kick from the top rope
Springboard forearm
Signature move(s):
The Natural 20. A suplex cutter
Lightning Bolt! He throws a small beanbag at someone and shouts "Lightning bolt!" it's up to you if they sell or not.
Going to the beer cooler by ringside and chugging potions which allow him to try to do things like power moves (which may or may not work),
Whenever he tries to do something completely mental (top rope moves, diving off ladders, cages, cells etc) he always rolls a d20 and hits them if he gets a natural 20, misses if he doesn't. (I'll say to match writers that this d20 should only ever hit very rarely.)
If he gets a natural 1, he will always fail - even if the other person is knocked out, he'll throw himself off and miss or deliberately jump in the opposite direction through the closest vacant table.
Finisher(s):
Critical hit! A running knee to the face.
Manager (optional): He has his party with him, who are only there to ensure that he doesn't get interfered with. They won't interfere themselves though, unless provoked.
