Undertaker has been a major force in the WWE for almost the entirety of my life. I was a mere 7 years old when 'Taker was revealed as the mystery member of the Million Dollar team ad Survivor Series 1990, and that man has been a huge part of WWE ever since. Rocky's fantastic, but I think we all know that the Undertaker is going to win this. Sorry Rock. R.I.P.

If you take EVERYTHING into consideration it's the rock.

Everything I said about Shawn Michaels applies to Undertaker in this case. Just as Shawn Michaels is probably the greatest wrestler ever, Undertaker is probably the greatest wrestling character ever. And both are absolutely trumped by the star power of the Rock. The only person who comes even close to the Rock is Stone Cold or Hulk Hogan.

Think about the impact the Rock had on wrestling. Taker may have been around longer, but honestly, The Rock has had a much bigger impact on it. I'm gonna have to disagree; Taker was always a big presence backstage, and even the guys who talk trash after leaving WWE speak of him with respect. Taker has helped shape more careers than the Rock has, which translates to doing more for the industry as a whole, not just WWE. In wrestling it's the undertaker. If you take EVERYTHING into consideration it's the rock. This is pretty much the same argument I used when it was HBK vs. the Rock, but I will argue the weight of Dwayne's cross-media accomplishments against everything Calloway has done for sports entertainment. In my opinion, they're almost even. And the fact that I'm a huge Undertaker mark is what sways my vote in his favour. Rocky is Rocky, but Taker is Taker.

I'm voting the Rock because he's one of the greatest five wrestlers to ever grace American television and WWE.
I'm also voting the Rock because when push came to shove he had no problems telling agents, writers, and Vince to fuck off he wasn't going to do something stupid which involves changing the finish to Goldberg matches, and Cena matches.
Undertaker on the other hand? Did whatever Vince wanted, and was a stooge. Also American Badass was fuckin' stupid, the theme song even worse, and other than WM20, it did nothing for Taker long term.

IMO The Rock and Stone Cold opened the doors for Wrestling to become more Mainstream, therefore effecting the overall product and how it is viewed. While Taker did more internally, I don't think Wrestling reaches the popularity it got and gets now. The Rock made it cool to like wrestling. He made it more exciting and fun. Thats my opinion of course. The Rock wins everytime in my book.

It's Rock hands down here.
Everyone is gonna have some love for the orignal spooky dude, but Rock is the one who has transcended into an entertainment icon, he moves better in ring, and can actually cut a promo (possibly top 3 promo guy ever)
Taker was Vince's biggest character possibly, Rock is an all around entertainer.

I cannot deny any of this. Still voted for Taker, though.

It's like voting Micky mantle vs babe Ruth as greatest ever baseball player. Can't go wrong with either.

I personally liked the Rock better. But I think the Undertaker has done more for a longer period of time. So he gets my vote.
