Yup. While mowing the grass this morning (since I had to work at 12:30) I figured I'd knock out the chore, then spend a good 3 hours or so banging out the rest of my Roleplay, which currently sits at around 300 words.
And then Mother Nature decided that I can do better apparently, because I have not been able to focus on writing in time to actually expand past that 300 words before having to go to work. (Before you ask, calling in sick is next to impossible unless you bring them an amputated limb. They will punish you for short notice call-ins, I've seen them do it before.)
As i've mentioned before, my schedule is very busy, so I give myself little time to write. I get these windows of time each week, and this time the window was invaded by insects.
So for the sake of my own sanity, I'm going to have to no-show this week. Please feel free to reference the ants in the match lol, but it's very clear to me it's not meant to be.
Don't worry though, still have plans for next week, when I fully expect to be hit by a bus.
Wonder of Wonders though, I have labor day off, so maybe I'll help with match writing tomorrow.
