Boy oh boy this is happening more than I would like lately. Rest assured it has nothing to do with my creative drive or will, but rather that I have about as much free time lately as a man in an elevator with a broken cable.
So I was working today at 4:00pm, figuring that I would be able to be done with all of my Sunday shopping at noon and give me a nice 4 hour window to write, as it is one of the few windows I have during the week now that school has started back up.
So I pull in the driveway prepared to put away groceries, and I get the following phone call.
"Hello [Teo], we need you to come in today at 1. There was a mix-up in the schedules and we would have noone to cover it otherwise."
And no, I cannot walk away from the job either, even with the tutoring position I just got.
So suffice it to say this puts me somewhere between a pickle and a hard place (which is more suggestive when you read it than it sounds when you think it), and I am basically having my hands tied behind my back preventing me from competing this week.
I do not intend to take any more hiatuses and still would like to be booked again next week, and I appreciate everyone's continued patience with Teo's misadventures in minimum wage (which would actually be a sweet RP title).
Anyway, off to work![/div][/div]

This would ordinarily not be a problem, I would try to write my RP entirely via phone and post it anyway, because I hate no-showing and would even put up a 1000 word storyline...
Except the problem is that the reason we have a schedule mix-up is because we have a new supervisor. And while I'm sure he is a wonderful human being, he is also far too green, and enforces policy far too strictly, meaning he will walk up to me (a 25 year old adult) and lock my phone in a drawer if he sees it out too much. I can still check the site for 30 seconds, but having it out for an hour to write an RP in notes in between customers?
