Thinking of having Karlie use a Ravishing Rick Rude type gimmick, might add something different to this stale character. Thoughts.

Karlie Nash with a Stache? lol
But seriously, Karlie might seem a little stale to you because you write her. But to the viewing audience, she is one of the most refreshing characters in the U. If you can pull off a Rick Rude, Chyna, and say Tamina Snuka hybrid personality makeover then I would go for it and good luck, it's good to tinker with your character every now and then.

Another gimmick idea I had yesterday that I'll share with you since it's your character:
Remember when Chavo was whitewashed and it was sorta heel, because of how much it touched on subject matter that's offensive to a culture and group of people? What if the same was done with Karlie in terms of her sexuality?
So, keep in mind it may be a bit touchy and doesn't have to be used or anything, but what if Karlie basically fell victim to the influence of a conversion therapist who in turn becomes her manager? I bring this up as I'm thinking about recent work such as her feud with L Verez. Then I'm thinking about how we have a handful of LGBT characters on our roster. The thing to remember also is that LGBT is clearly celebrated with a warm reception in UCI as evidenced by someone like L Verez.
So, Karlie has the cougar hunter gimmick going on and you've spent time establishing those specific connections. What would happen if that was ripped away and what we're left with is this old white man following Karlie Nash around and pushing sexual conformity on her to the point that he gets her to actually buy into it? You'd be left with heel/face flexibility also. Let's say maybe this guy is seen as a life coach too, pulling back the "bad attitude" of the character as well.
My example to illustrate this is say..we have a segment with Karlie inviting L to the ring and sharing with her all about how this man has helped her "see the light". While she's coming across as being surprisingly polite, it's still pushing buttons and hitting a nerve to the point that you'd see her ironically tapping into the aggression of opponents that this man has gotten her to suppress within herself.
"Changed One" Karlie Nash, escorted to the ring by the efed Mike Pence. It keeps her as a character who is received as heel while really garnering heel heat as well as face momentum for whatever good guy she fights.

I fucking love this idea and I think you could be fucking stellar with it, Karlie, but ofc it is up to you, it is a hard thing to do without it coming off wrong.

So basically what your saying is This guy or Woman would converts Karlie so she is no longer gay?

Okay, want to throw a little twist on this what about if the person trying to convert Karlie is a sexy older woman, Karlie plays along to draw her in, the Karlie converts her.

I like this Karlie- but don't tell anyone that Karlie is playing the older woman.
Meaning, IC she plays it off like this is real then the swerve is finding out that she converted the older woman into homosexuality.

Hmmmmmmm. After reading all this, I have some thoughts to throw on the pile. Personal opinions and thoughts. Use them as you wish.
First, I wouldn't make the person an older woman, nor would I have Karlie turn her if it was. I think that, in and of itself would take away from the storyline idea.
Second, I can see so many angles with this. For example, you can use this guy to pretty much tear and break Karlie down to the barest of foundations and then build her back up in a new image. I'm talking total brainwash. Vignettes each week, with Karlie not wrestling because she has "disappeared". And then you bring Karlie back in a new image......
.......Right to Censor style. Anyone remember these guys? Basically, they thought it was their duty to censor all sorts of different things in the WWE. Well, what if this person (Who you should definitely make look like Steven Richards from Right to Censor) has the same idea about the LGBT community? Karlie, feeling low as of late, is the perfect target. Take her, brainwash her, then bring her back to UCI with a mission. Hell, you could even get a person or two to jump on that bandwagon, you have the makings of a very legit heel group that fits into ANY scenario.
The beauty is when, not if, Karlie gets her senses back to her. If in a group, that starts a feud with the other members. If just KArlie and her manager, totally huge storyline and so much that can be used to rebuild the character storyline wise.
Thats my ideas. Take them as you wish.
