It’s the day before Meltdown. We've returned to L’s secret chamber within her home base, where her partner Zima'Ion is in stasis. I'm still a bit roughed up from Karlie Nash attacking me, but I should be fine, I hope… Luminous and Marvelous are fixing up the panels for Zima, so she can breathe her home planet's atmosphere. L is helping them, but not much, since she has a match she needs to focus on. She’s also in her indigo tech suit. The same one she'll be wearing for her match tomorrow. Speaking of L, you didn't have to do all of that for me, you know.
Of course I did, Vin. Nash has disrespected me for long enough. And you were an innocent bystander in all of this. Which I apologize for… I shouldn't have let you go with me, knowing that something like that could've happened to you.
No need to apologise, L. I knew what I was getting myself into. Besides, you know I insisted on going with you. But are you sure you want to go through with this match? I know you promised Zima to continue your UCI tenure whilst she's in stasis, but you're heading right into a hardcore match. We don't need two people in stasis, L.
Don't be silly, Vince. I've had unfinished business with Karlie since after Election Day. Zima would want me to finish this. Besides… I also have the Society to worry about. I need to focus on that. If I have Karlie Nash always sabotaging me, then I won't be as helpful to the Guardians as I need to be.
Speaking of the Guardians… did you ever tell them what happened to Zima'Ion?
… Not yet. But I will. I just want Meltdown to be finished with first, before I tell them. They already have enough on their plate with each of their respective matches.
Are you certain that's the right way to go about this? You have to build trust with the Guardians. Keeping secrets from them about The Society isn't going to do that.
I know… but I still need to find out how and why a Shade was on Earth, and is siding with the Society.

I let my anger get the best of me after falling short on Election Day. But it was your disrespect towards me that truly set me off. You had the audacity to belittle me. Assuming that I'm out of my mind. That I'm some druggie from Earth, thinking I'm an alien. That's what started this on my end. But why did you start this, hmm Karlie? Oh, that's right. You were on a losing streak. You were desperate for a win. And you, being even more hot headed than I, let that pent up anger get to you as well.
It doesn't end there, though! I was finished with all of that. I let what happened go. But you didn't, did you Karlie? Of course not. You had to cost me my match with Nova. You could've simply attacked me, but instead, you through Nova to the steel steps, so that it would count as me losing via disqualification. You wanted to sabotage me. All just because of your newfound bitterness towards me.
After the triple threat tag match that you and Calvin pathetically lost to Alex and I, things between us seemed to have simmered down. You even won a couple matches! Such a spectacular miracle! But for some odd reason… Last week on Overload, you attacked my biographer, Vincent Walker. What was the reasoning for this? Because you got your heart broken? Well, Karlie…

This brings us to tomorrow… remember what I said the night you cost me my match against Nova, Karlie. I said that I was going to make you bleed. At Meltdown, I keep that promise. I will be standing over your blood ridden carcass after you are unable to stand for the ten count. I will be the last woman standing, and I will be the one to end this feud once and for all.
