Election Day has just ended, and L Verez is backstage, still recovering from the Fatal 4 Way Barbed Wire Massacre. She's just come back from greeting some of the lucky fans that got to meet the “Protector of the Universe,” who is now sitting backwards on a folding chair, stretching a bit. She’s still in her sensory suit, goggles and all. Oh wait… there's someone coming. Good thing I've got the camera.
Dani Applegate: L Verez. Earlier tonight, you had your first shot at a title in the UCI. You took on Artemis St. Cloud, Derek Wellings, who has had championships in other companies, and the Rising Stars Champion, Calvin Harris. However, you were not able to secure a victory. Instead, a bloody Calvin Harris retained his title after pinning Artemis St. Cloud. What are your thoughts after the encounter?
L: Greetings, Milk. I believe this is my first interview since I've made my presence known here in UCI. Yes, I was unable to secure my first title victory, which is unfortunate. I came to this match prepared, special attire and all. But I was unable to use the abilities that I had within my arsenal. I underestimated the Champion, Calvin Harris. And though I don't have much liking to Artemis St. Cloud, he did get the worst of that match, while I was the only one able to avoid the gruesome backbite of the barbed wire. So my thoughts, and positive vibes go out to him. I do hope he recovers soon. I do have unfinished business with him, but that is another chat for another time. I also have some unfinished business with the Champion, Calvin Harris. You see, I was able to connect the Celestial Descent to Derek Wellings. His descent seemed to be my Jupiter Ascending, but Artemis made the unwise choice to pull me out of the ring, only for Calvin Harris to take advantage and continue his assault on Artemis to gain the victory. Calvin Harris defeated Artemis… he did not defeat me. I will have another opportunity at the Rising Stars Championship. When I do gain this opportunity, Calvin Harris will not be able to retain. As the Protector of the Universe, I vow to protect everyone from the selfish, greedy, epitome of Milk that is… Calvin Harris. This isn't the end. This is just the beginning.
Dani Applegate: One more question before you go, Ms. Verez. Later in the show, Alex Richards made his return to UCI. He claimed he was going back to the Guardians. On the last episode of Overload, the Guardians seemed to be keeping an eye on you during your match against Joe Smarts. What are your thoughts on this?
L: Ah, yes. I was watching the rest of the event while recovering from my match. I saw Alex Richards make a majestic return to stare down at the Zombie of UCI, who by the way, I almost got to face tonight for the TV Title, as I did get second place in the Election Poll for that match. I believe with the return of Alex Richards, he could be the one to bring The Guardians back to how they should be. Their alignment with #beachkrew concerns, not only me, but the entire UCI Universe. And we both know how I feel about the Universe. The return of Alex Richards makes me optimistic about the future of The Guardians. And don't worry, miss…. Dani, is it? Last week will not be my only encounter with The Guardians. “Not of this World” L Verez has some business to attend to with them as well.
Dani Applegate: Wait. What exactly do you mean by that?
L: Time will tell, Dani Appleseed. I have other matters to attend to now. I must bid you adieu.
Dani Applegate: It's… Applegate.
L Verez stands up, folds her chair, puts her goggles around her neck, and bows to the interviewer.
L: Positive vibes, Ms. Applegate. Positive vibes, always.
She walks away from the interviewer, signaling me to follow. Once we're away from the interviewer, L Verez stops and turns toward me.
L: Did you like that, Vinny? I made sure to sound all whimsical, and mysterious. Like they would assume an alien from another galaxy would talk.
Oh… yes, that was a good interview. Your performance was interesting to watch, indeed.
L: Yeah, I've been working on my in ring presence. The fans seem to like larger than life characters, and since I'm not large physically, I figur- …
Oh my. It's the UCI World Heavyweight Champion, Bonnie Blue. She just retained her title in a Fatal 4 Way match of her own….. and now she's having a bit of a stare down with L Verez. The Champion scoffs, and walks off with the title on her shoulder.
L: Hey! Are you not gonna say anything about Overload last week?
Bonnie Blue continues to walk away, not even acknowledging the question. L lets her walk off, and now she's turning towards me…
L: Okay, Vin. I think it's about time I respond to this whole Overload thing. Get the camera ready.
It's been ready, L. The camera is *always* ready. That's why you changed your mind about bringing me here, even though you *know* how much I hate that damned teleporter. Anyway… speak your mind, since you're already adjusting your sunglasses.
L: Last week on Overload, during my match with Joe Smarts, I was being eyed. I was being eyed by the likes of Damian Kaine, and our not so beloved World Champion, Bonnie Blue. However, they refuse to make their intentions clear. And now, to make things even more confusing,as if this entire #beachkrew alliance hasn't already done that, now we have a returning Alex Richards, who has stated that he is here to return to his fellow Guardians. But my question is this… Will he be returning to the Guardians? Or will he be returning to #beachkrew? The fate of the Guardians has been quite hazy lately. We already knew John Rabid was a part of #beachkrew. Though, it all really started at Lazarus. When Bonnie Blue shocked the world, not only by defeating “The Plague” Kevin Bishop, but by joining a faction that doesn't even belong in UCI. She joined #beachkrew. A woman that was already tied with the Guardians, has also sided with a gang of self entitled Milks that shouldn't even be strutting around in UCI. But then… at Overload, the same night I had been eyed on by The Guardians, their last good member decided to turn his back on the UCI Universe, and join #beachkrew as well. Not to mention this being AFTER he brought in his partner Kaz Mazy from WCF, who seems to be a pretty decent Milk. But tonight… Alex Richards made his return after the Television Title match to return to the Guardians. What are his intentions? I think the Protector of the Universe may have to get in on this Guardians business.
She puts her hand over the camera to end the recording. Luckily for us, this camera is also smudge proof.
L: How was that, Vin? Was that good?
Yes, very delightful. Nice work.
L: Okay. I think we should look for DK, and get some answers about Overload.
The search is on for the newly formed tag team of Damian Kaine and Kaz Mazy. It's not long before we’re able to see them in the distance conversing.
L: Greetings Damian Kaine! Would you mind curing my curiosity about a specific matter?
We get a bit closer, but he seems to be ignoring her. Kaz actually has more of her attention than Damian does, but DK is making sure Kaz has his attention.
L: I’m curious to understand why The Guardians were eyeing me during last week's Overload.
They stop talking for a second. We see the back of Damian's head tilt our way just a slight bit. Kaz looks to be muttering something towards him, but DK shrugs it off and continues to ignore us as he signals Kaz to exit the arena.
L: Maybe another time then?
She mutters something in annoyance. We start walking away until we run into a crew member.
UCI Crew Member: Sorry guys, but it's getting late. You gotta get going.
L: No worries, comrade. Safe travels!
We make our way out of the arena, a bit reluctantly. Once we're outside, L Verez makes sure to greet some of the lingering fans, take pictures with them, and sign their autographs. It's good to know that she's still very respectful to her fanbase, even when she's in a bad mood.
L: Positive vibes, everyone! Safe travels to you all!
After the fans leave, L slumps to the arena door, feeling a bit down after being ignored by the Guardian/#beachkrew members… wait… what's this awful taste in my mouth? … Bollucks… Am I… Am I in the air? What the?... Help? I'm starting to spin. This isn't funny! HELP!?
L: Thank the Quasars. Finally, a Guardian member that won't ignore me!
Alex Richards: Here I go trying to get off on the right foot and give you a taste of the Zim-Quila, and you insult my fine alcohol? As you know.. those are fighting words. But then i figured nah, I'll just fuck with ya a little. More Zim-Quila for me anyway.
L: Fantastic to finally meet you! Do you, by any chance, know why the other two were eyeing my match at Overload last week?
Alex Richards: You're the new alien around here, and the last time we didn't take aliens seriously... #beachkrew happened. Now as for your question, I may not be a member in good standing, but the way I see it.. they want to know if you're a threat.. or an ally. Now, if I was you, I'd stay away from them right now. These aren't the same Guardians I remember
L: Yeah, I know. They're currently aligned with #beachkrew. And I'm guessing I'm not the only one that isn't exactly okay with this.
Alex Richards: *smirks* I was hoping you'd say that.
Ahh, yes. They're having a conversation while I'm still floating here in the air. Hey, can I possibly get down from here at any point?
Alex Richards: You seem like a good kid, so I have a warning for you. This is Guardians business. Dangerous business. You might want to stay out of this fight.
Hello? Narrator still floating here!
L: I may not seem like it, but I'm tougher than I look. I'm willing to take any obstacle that's thrown my way.

*CRASH*
Alex Richards: Don't say I didn't warn ya…
Oww... You couldn't have let me land a bit softer? *sigh*... Anyway, if you know Verez as much as I do, you'll know that she's a very formidable fighter. When she says she's the Protector of the Universe, it's not just so the fans think she's cool. She really does travel the Universe to help anyone in need... even if it means killing a giant monster and making me help.
Alex Richards: Sorry about that. Concussions build character anyways. So L.. You remember a group called The Pack?
L: I don't think so, no.
Alex Richards: Well, we used to have a saying. “Actions speak louder than words.” That's kind of how I work. I’d like to think that's how the Guardians work too. The Guardians were watching you because you got their attention. Now it's up to you to decide what you want to do next.
L: Well, I was hoping to join you guys, but this whole #beachkrew deal has made me a bit skeptical.
Alex’ expression turns hard for a second, but he quickly returns to his odd, goofy smile.
Alex Richards: I can't exactly help you with all this Guardian business.. but I can offer you this.
Alex reaches into his doctor's bag and pulls out.. a large boot? Gods… he's even sniffing the damn thing.
Alex Richards: 6 month aged Zim-Quila.. the good stuff! Enjoy. As for joining the Guardians… that's a matter you'll have to decide on your own.
Alex hands L the boot and wanders off, almost fading away, leaving L Verez with a difficult decision.
L: I don't know, Vin. Meeting Richards made me wanna join them more, but I still don't know about this whole #beachkrew ordeal. Especially with how Bonnie and Damian have been acting as of late.
As L Verez takes a minute to think about her decision, the Holo sphere in her pocket emits a blinking purple glow. She takes the Holo out of her pocket and waves her hand over the sphere to project a hologram.
L: It's the card for next week's Overload! Wow, I'm not in the opener for once. My match this week is… against Karlie Nash. Wow. That's the girl that took on Bonnie Blue for the World Title. Artemis as well. She also just lost to Z-MAC tonight for the TV Title. Hey, wait a second! Speaking of the TV Title, she's the one that got first place for the poll, where as I got second place. Ugh.. why would people decide to vote for a Milk like her instead of their Universal Protector? Well, it's no matter… I gotta get to training for that match. Let's go, Vince.
Ugh… not the teleporter again…
~5 days later~
We've returned to the Galaxy home to our Universal Protector. Which galaxy that is, I'm still unsure of. She won't tell me. Anywho.. we're in the arena that L has set up to practice for her matches. This time, she's facing a Karlie Nashdroid. She's already hit the Celestial Descent. Now for the pin… 1, 2, 3.
*DING DING DING*
Lovely. The robo-referee raises her hand, as she does that goofy pose with the upside down “ok” symbol by her eye, whilst sticking her tongue out. She grabs a mic and then signals me to come closer. Looks like it's time for the “Protector of the Universe” to speak her mind.
L: Karlie Nash… Another Milk I must defeat. This entire week, I have studied you so that I can find multiple strategies in order to defeat you. You say I'm a fraud… that I am not a true Protector of the Universe. I don't exactly appreciate you claiming that I am of the Milky Way Galaxy. Especially not Planet Earth. Now don't misunderstand. I respect that place for what it is, but I am a proud intergalactic traveler. Unlike you, Nash, I haven't received a legitimate loss as of now. Especially not one on one. I understand that you've lost your last couple of matches, and that you may be becoming desperate for a win, but that does not mean that I will take this match any easier on you. I'm more determined now than ever to reach the top of the ladder in UCI, so you better prepare for the unexpected, because that's what “Not of this World” L Verez brings to the squared circle.
L Verez pauses for a second, then gives me a thumbs up to signal an end to the shoot. As she exits the ring and puts her mic down, her feline companions, Luminous, Marvelous, and Limbo, float over to accompany her.
Marvelous: I usually don't say stuff like this, but you've improved a lot, Verez. I gotta say, I'm impressed.
L: Thanks, Marvel. I've been working really hard at this.
L spaces out for a second, there seems to be something else on her mind.
Luminous: Is something the matter, L?
L Verez regains focus and turns her attention to the white feline.
L: Huh? Yeah. I'm okay. It's just…
Luminous: Is it the Guardians again?
L: Kind of… one member specifically. Damian Kaine.
Luminous sighs.
Luminous: You're not still fluttering over him, are you?
L: What? No! I never have! No, I mean there's something off about him. At first, I thought it was just because of #beachkrew, but then I've been looking into it more. I looked back at the last Overload episode. When he announced the return of Kaz Mazy. His voice. The frequency was off. I don't think it's actually Damian Kaine.
Luminous: You think it may be a doppelganger?
L: Yeah. Where's Polonium? I need him to hand me the Holo Sphere.
Limbo: I GET POLO. HIMS VERY SHINY.
Limbo floats over to Polonium, who is by the entrance stage. The robotic cyclops hovers his way here, Limbo floating right over him.
HERE IS YOUR HOLO, PROTECTOR.
He hands the Holo to L Verez. She thanks him, and then waves her hand over the sphere to reveal a hologram of Planet Earth.
L: Okay… time to locate Damian's coordinates. Let's make sure this is the correct DK this time.
L plays a video of Damian Kaine to from the Overload after Lazarus. The same week that L Verez debuted. The Holo is detecting and scanning the voice frequency, as well as his facial recognition, to narrow down the search.
L: Got it! He's in… Vancouver, Canada? Okay. I put the coordinates on the teleporter. Let's get going, Walker.
Great. The dreaded teleporter. L Verez leads me to the tech room. Before we get there though, I notice that the Time Runner is a lot closer to being finished, since L was able to obtain those materials from the Sombrero natives. It's also much more shiny. I'm surprised Limbo hasn't attempted to steal it yet. L stops right before we get to the tech room.
L: Here, Vince. Take this. Equip that while I change.
Right… She gave me some extra tech equipment, it seems. Similar to what she has, except it's just the flash goggles, sonic gloves, and tool belt. I hope it doesn't teleport like hers does. Well… now that I'm all set up, L opens her window, door… thing back up.
L: Ready to go, Vinny?
As if my readiness really matters… let's go find Damian.

*retches* … I don't think I'll ever get used to this…
L: So he's in the woods. Wait… I see someone in the distance. I think it's Damian.
There's a figure in the distance, wandering the woods. The figure spots us and stops. We walk towards him, him walking our way as well. The figure is indeed, Damian Kaine.
L: Damian Kaine! Greetings!
Damian Kaine: Okay, wait… Who are you?
L: Oh geez. Your memory must be out of whack. I'm L Verez. I'm one of the new additions to the UCI roster. I debuted the week after Lazarus.
Damian Kaine: I.. Yeah. Yeah, okay. I think I remember you.
L: Okay. Do you know how you got here?
Damian Kaine: The last thing I remember was walking to my rental car. I just blacked out.
L: How long ago was that?
Damian Kaine: Uh...
Damian looks down at his phone. He seems to have lost track of time. Ironic, since he's teamed up with a Time Witch.
Damian Kaine: Fuck... It was the 27th. Four days ago.
L: 4 days ago? That was the day after the Election Day event.
Damian Kaine: Shit, was it? I've been here in Vancouver since the night of your debut.
L: Woah... So you never joined #beachkrew, you weren't the one to introduce Kaz Mazy to UCI, and you weren't the one to team up with him at Election Day.
Damian gives L a very confused stare.
Damian Kaine: ...What the hell are you talking about?
L: A doppelganger has taken your place since you've been here in Vancouver. So wait... It wasn't you that was with Bonnie when you guys were watching my match with Joe Smarts.
Damian Kaine: I haven't seen a lick of wrestling since that night... I haven't even been online.
L: What have you been doing the whole time you've been in Vancouver?
Damian Kaine: I've been wrapping up on filming. Or, trying to, anyway. After Bonnie up and joined #beachkrew, I needed a bit of time.
L: So you were never ok with her joining #beachkrew? Well, that makes three of us.
Damian Kaine: Three? Oh, right. Andre..
L: Alex Richards, actually. Andre is out of the picture, remember?
There goes that confused look again.
Damian Kaine: Wait. Wait, wait, wait… what!?
L: Yeah, Alex is back from the dead. He came back to return to the Guardians.
Damian Kaine: Holy shit…
L: Yeah, you missed a lot while you were here in Canada.
Damian shakes his head a bit to try and wrap his head around everything.
Damian Kaine: Huh... Okay. Look, can you get me to Georgia? I need to get home and see family. While I'm home I'll check into everything.
L: Oh, I can definitely do that! Are you used to teleportation? I don't need two people puking after we get to our destination.
Not my fault you chose someone with motion sickness to teleport with you everywhere.
Damian Kaine: Oh, trust me. I'm good. I guess that's a perk of having no food to throw up.
L: Oh cool, so you guys can eat while we're there too. Vinnie can pay your way.
So now I have to teleport *and* spend money on others. Splendid.
Damian Kaine: Uhh.. Vinnie?
Yes. Hello. That's me. Holding the odd, extraterrestrial camera. Being forced to teleport places and pay for other people to eat. Vince Walker is my actual name. L just likes to nickname everything.
Damian Kaine: Can you move a bit so I can get a better look at you?
Alright. Let me step forward here… There. Now you can see all of my spectacular features.
Damian Kaine: Holy whoa... You look like Tom!

Damian Kaine: What? No! Tom Felton? British actor? Draco Malfoy? Julian Albert? Ring any bells?
Ahh, yes, that Tom… I totally knew the actor's name. But yes, I get that a lot. No relation though. Just mere coincidence.
Damian Kaine: He's a pretty cool dude.. Shit I need some sleep.
Damian looks towards L. He seems very drained from his Vancouver trip.
Damian Kaine: Can we go ahead and get this over with?
L: Oh yeah, we'll be there in a snap!
A very dreadful snap. L Verez gets her Holo out so Damian can give her the correct coordinates. Once that's done, she leads us to the teleporter. We step in, an--

*vomits* Ugh… I hate this so much.
L: I hope we got the coordinates right... Wanna double check for me, Damian?
Damian takes a look around the area to make sure we're in the correct location, while I'm over here dying. It definitely feels like we're in Georgia. And I'd sure hate to be in an unknown area.
Damian Kaine: Looks about right..
L: Okay, perfect! Now where's the house you're looking for?
Damian Kaine: Should be about a mile north. You up for a walk?
Great. First, we have to teleport, and now, we have to walk. Can't wait.
L: Well, unlike Vinny here, I'm always up for traveling!
Hey, you're the one that decided to take me on this journey. Oh.. now Damian's turning towards me.
Damian: There should be an extra bed at the house. And you're gonna get pampered by my momma.
Excellent! That's the best news I've heard in quite some time. Now I'm up for that walk. Damian leads the way to our rest stop.

~Two days later~
It's the day before the next Overload, but our “Universal Protector” L Verez is not taking any days off. Even after her adventure with Damian Kaine. We've returned to L’s home galaxy, but not her planet, or even her solar system. L actually told me the name of the planet though. It's called “Quartex”. It looks very astonishing. From my view, I see a bright, lavender sky, with two crossing asteroid belts surrounding us. We're safe from any of them hitting us though, thanks to a barrier protecting the planet. At our feet is what feels like sand, but looks much brighter and much more shiny. Maybe that's why L brought Limbo here. Polonium and Luminous are both with us as well. While around us are … well.. I'm not sure. Everything just looks like light. The Quasar shines bright in the distance. L told me that's what she named her “Quasar Implosion” finisher after. Apparently, her planet and solar system are much closer to that Quasar. How I've survived here, I will never know. Back to the topic, L has just finished helping the people of the Quartex, from the attack of these shadow like creatures. I understand why the natives were so concerned. They literally emit their own light with their skin. Or are they made of light? I can't tell. They're basically big floating orbs of light, from what I can tell.
L: It's nice to literally defeat darkness. Makes those Milk's metaphors a bit more entertaining. Isn't that right, Limbo?
Limbo: SHINY, SHINY, SHINYYYYYY!!!
L laughs while Limbo looks like he's consumed a lifetime supply of caffeine, floating around everywhere.
Luminous: Enjoying the view before deciding to leave, L?
L: Yeah. This is one of my favorite places to go. It's so peaceful here, once those Shadows aren't getting in the way. The Quartex really allows me to focus, and help me make important decisions.
Luminous: I’m assuming this is leading to some news.
L: You'd be right! I've finally decided… I'm going to join the Guardians!
Luminous: Well, it's about time. I predicted this from the beginning.
L: Well, my main worry was #beachkrew. I still am worried about that, since Bonnie is still sided with them, and she is the leader of The Guardians… but it doesn't feel as hopeless as before! And with some extra people on my side, and helping me progress, I'll be able to climb the ladder of UCI much faster, while we help Bonnie get back to her senses!
NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO RESIST THE DEADLY BRAIN ERASER, PROTECTOR.

L Verez stands up, folds her chair, puts her goggles around her neck, and bows to the interviewer.
L: Positive vibes, Ms. Applegate. Positive vibes, always.
She walks away from the interviewer, signaling me to follow. Once we're away from the interviewer, L Verez stops and turns toward me.
L: Did you like that, Vinny? I made sure to sound all whimsical, and mysterious. Like they would assume an alien from another galaxy would talk.
Oh… yes, that was a good interview. Your performance was interesting to watch, indeed.
L: Yeah, I've been working on my in ring presence. The fans seem to like larger than life characters, and since I'm not large physically, I figur- …
Oh my. It's the UCI World Heavyweight Champion, Bonnie Blue. She just retained her title in a Fatal 4 Way match of her own….. and now she's having a bit of a stare down with L Verez. The Champion scoffs, and walks off with the title on her shoulder.
L: Hey! Are you not gonna say anything about Overload last week?
Bonnie Blue continues to walk away, not even acknowledging the question. L lets her walk off, and now she's turning towards me…
L: Okay, Vin. I think it's about time I respond to this whole Overload thing. Get the camera ready.
It's been ready, L. The camera is *always* ready. That's why you changed your mind about bringing me here, even though you *know* how much I hate that damned teleporter. Anyway… speak your mind, since you're already adjusting your sunglasses.
L: Last week on Overload, during my match with Joe Smarts, I was being eyed. I was being eyed by the likes of Damian Kaine, and our not so beloved World Champion, Bonnie Blue. However, they refuse to make their intentions clear. And now, to make things even more confusing,as if this entire #beachkrew alliance hasn't already done that, now we have a returning Alex Richards, who has stated that he is here to return to his fellow Guardians. But my question is this… Will he be returning to the Guardians? Or will he be returning to #beachkrew? The fate of the Guardians has been quite hazy lately. We already knew John Rabid was a part of #beachkrew. Though, it all really started at Lazarus. When Bonnie Blue shocked the world, not only by defeating “The Plague” Kevin Bishop, but by joining a faction that doesn't even belong in UCI. She joined #beachkrew. A woman that was already tied with the Guardians, has also sided with a gang of self entitled Milks that shouldn't even be strutting around in UCI. But then… at Overload, the same night I had been eyed on by The Guardians, their last good member decided to turn his back on the UCI Universe, and join #beachkrew as well. Not to mention this being AFTER he brought in his partner Kaz Mazy from WCF, who seems to be a pretty decent Milk. But tonight… Alex Richards made his return after the Television Title match to return to the Guardians. What are his intentions? I think the Protector of the Universe may have to get in on this Guardians business.
She puts her hand over the camera to end the recording. Luckily for us, this camera is also smudge proof.
L: How was that, Vin? Was that good?
Yes, very delightful. Nice work.
L: Okay. I think we should look for DK, and get some answers about Overload.
The search is on for the newly formed tag team of Damian Kaine and Kaz Mazy. It's not long before we’re able to see them in the distance conversing.
L: Greetings Damian Kaine! Would you mind curing my curiosity about a specific matter?
We get a bit closer, but he seems to be ignoring her. Kaz actually has more of her attention than Damian does, but DK is making sure Kaz has his attention.
L: I’m curious to understand why The Guardians were eyeing me during last week's Overload.
They stop talking for a second. We see the back of Damian's head tilt our way just a slight bit. Kaz looks to be muttering something towards him, but DK shrugs it off and continues to ignore us as he signals Kaz to exit the arena.
L: Maybe another time then?
She mutters something in annoyance. We start walking away until we run into a crew member.
UCI Crew Member: Sorry guys, but it's getting late. You gotta get going.
L: No worries, comrade. Safe travels!
We make our way out of the arena, a bit reluctantly. Once we're outside, L Verez makes sure to greet some of the lingering fans, take pictures with them, and sign their autographs. It's good to know that she's still very respectful to her fanbase, even when she's in a bad mood.
L: Positive vibes, everyone! Safe travels to you all!
After the fans leave, L slumps to the arena door, feeling a bit down after being ignored by the Guardian/#beachkrew members… wait… what's this awful taste in my mouth? … Bollucks… Am I… Am I in the air? What the?... Help? I'm starting to spin. This isn't funny! HELP!?
L: Thank the Quasars. Finally, a Guardian member that won't ignore me!
Alex Richards: Here I go trying to get off on the right foot and give you a taste of the Zim-Quila, and you insult my fine alcohol? As you know.. those are fighting words. But then i figured nah, I'll just fuck with ya a little. More Zim-Quila for me anyway.
L: Fantastic to finally meet you! Do you, by any chance, know why the other two were eyeing my match at Overload last week?
Alex Richards: You're the new alien around here, and the last time we didn't take aliens seriously... #beachkrew happened. Now as for your question, I may not be a member in good standing, but the way I see it.. they want to know if you're a threat.. or an ally. Now, if I was you, I'd stay away from them right now. These aren't the same Guardians I remember
L: Yeah, I know. They're currently aligned with #beachkrew. And I'm guessing I'm not the only one that isn't exactly okay with this.
Alex Richards: *smirks* I was hoping you'd say that.
Ahh, yes. They're having a conversation while I'm still floating here in the air. Hey, can I possibly get down from here at any point?
Alex Richards: You seem like a good kid, so I have a warning for you. This is Guardians business. Dangerous business. You might want to stay out of this fight.
Hello? Narrator still floating here!
L: I may not seem like it, but I'm tougher than I look. I'm willing to take any obstacle that's thrown my way.

Alex Richards: Don't say I didn't warn ya…
Oww... You couldn't have let me land a bit softer? *sigh*... Anyway, if you know Verez as much as I do, you'll know that she's a very formidable fighter. When she says she's the Protector of the Universe, it's not just so the fans think she's cool. She really does travel the Universe to help anyone in need... even if it means killing a giant monster and making me help.
Alex Richards: Sorry about that. Concussions build character anyways. So L.. You remember a group called The Pack?
L: I don't think so, no.
Alex Richards: Well, we used to have a saying. “Actions speak louder than words.” That's kind of how I work. I’d like to think that's how the Guardians work too. The Guardians were watching you because you got their attention. Now it's up to you to decide what you want to do next.
L: Well, I was hoping to join you guys, but this whole #beachkrew deal has made me a bit skeptical.
Alex’ expression turns hard for a second, but he quickly returns to his odd, goofy smile.
Alex Richards: I can't exactly help you with all this Guardian business.. but I can offer you this.
Alex reaches into his doctor's bag and pulls out.. a large boot? Gods… he's even sniffing the damn thing.
Alex Richards: 6 month aged Zim-Quila.. the good stuff! Enjoy. As for joining the Guardians… that's a matter you'll have to decide on your own.
Alex hands L the boot and wanders off, almost fading away, leaving L Verez with a difficult decision.
L: I don't know, Vin. Meeting Richards made me wanna join them more, but I still don't know about this whole #beachkrew ordeal. Especially with how Bonnie and Damian have been acting as of late.
As L Verez takes a minute to think about her decision, the Holo sphere in her pocket emits a blinking purple glow. She takes the Holo out of her pocket and waves her hand over the sphere to project a hologram.
L: It's the card for next week's Overload! Wow, I'm not in the opener for once. My match this week is… against Karlie Nash. Wow. That's the girl that took on Bonnie Blue for the World Title. Artemis as well. She also just lost to Z-MAC tonight for the TV Title. Hey, wait a second! Speaking of the TV Title, she's the one that got first place for the poll, where as I got second place. Ugh.. why would people decide to vote for a Milk like her instead of their Universal Protector? Well, it's no matter… I gotta get to training for that match. Let's go, Vince.

~5 days later~
We've returned to the Galaxy home to our Universal Protector. Which galaxy that is, I'm still unsure of. She won't tell me. Anywho.. we're in the arena that L has set up to practice for her matches. This time, she's facing a Karlie Nashdroid. She's already hit the Celestial Descent. Now for the pin… 1, 2, 3.
*DING DING DING*
Lovely. The robo-referee raises her hand, as she does that goofy pose with the upside down “ok” symbol by her eye, whilst sticking her tongue out. She grabs a mic and then signals me to come closer. Looks like it's time for the “Protector of the Universe” to speak her mind.
L: Karlie Nash… Another Milk I must defeat. This entire week, I have studied you so that I can find multiple strategies in order to defeat you. You say I'm a fraud… that I am not a true Protector of the Universe. I don't exactly appreciate you claiming that I am of the Milky Way Galaxy. Especially not Planet Earth. Now don't misunderstand. I respect that place for what it is, but I am a proud intergalactic traveler. Unlike you, Nash, I haven't received a legitimate loss as of now. Especially not one on one. I understand that you've lost your last couple of matches, and that you may be becoming desperate for a win, but that does not mean that I will take this match any easier on you. I'm more determined now than ever to reach the top of the ladder in UCI, so you better prepare for the unexpected, because that's what “Not of this World” L Verez brings to the squared circle.
L Verez pauses for a second, then gives me a thumbs up to signal an end to the shoot. As she exits the ring and puts her mic down, her feline companions, Luminous, Marvelous, and Limbo, float over to accompany her.
Marvelous: I usually don't say stuff like this, but you've improved a lot, Verez. I gotta say, I'm impressed.
L: Thanks, Marvel. I've been working really hard at this.
L spaces out for a second, there seems to be something else on her mind.
Luminous: Is something the matter, L?
L Verez regains focus and turns her attention to the white feline.
L: Huh? Yeah. I'm okay. It's just…
Luminous: Is it the Guardians again?
L: Kind of… one member specifically. Damian Kaine.
Luminous sighs.
Luminous: You're not still fluttering over him, are you?
L: What? No! I never have! No, I mean there's something off about him. At first, I thought it was just because of #beachkrew, but then I've been looking into it more. I looked back at the last Overload episode. When he announced the return of Kaz Mazy. His voice. The frequency was off. I don't think it's actually Damian Kaine.
Luminous: You think it may be a doppelganger?
L: Yeah. Where's Polonium? I need him to hand me the Holo Sphere.
Limbo: I GET POLO. HIMS VERY SHINY.
Limbo floats over to Polonium, who is by the entrance stage. The robotic cyclops hovers his way here, Limbo floating right over him.
HERE IS YOUR HOLO, PROTECTOR.
He hands the Holo to L Verez. She thanks him, and then waves her hand over the sphere to reveal a hologram of Planet Earth.
L: Okay… time to locate Damian's coordinates. Let's make sure this is the correct DK this time.
L plays a video of Damian Kaine to from the Overload after Lazarus. The same week that L Verez debuted. The Holo is detecting and scanning the voice frequency, as well as his facial recognition, to narrow down the search.
L: Got it! He's in… Vancouver, Canada? Okay. I put the coordinates on the teleporter. Let's get going, Walker.
Great. The dreaded teleporter. L Verez leads me to the tech room. Before we get there though, I notice that the Time Runner is a lot closer to being finished, since L was able to obtain those materials from the Sombrero natives. It's also much more shiny. I'm surprised Limbo hasn't attempted to steal it yet. L stops right before we get to the tech room.
L: Here, Vince. Take this. Equip that while I change.
Right… She gave me some extra tech equipment, it seems. Similar to what she has, except it's just the flash goggles, sonic gloves, and tool belt. I hope it doesn't teleport like hers does. Well… now that I'm all set up, L opens her window, door… thing back up.
L: Ready to go, Vinny?
As if my readiness really matters… let's go find Damian.

*retches* … I don't think I'll ever get used to this…
L: So he's in the woods. Wait… I see someone in the distance. I think it's Damian.
There's a figure in the distance, wandering the woods. The figure spots us and stops. We walk towards him, him walking our way as well. The figure is indeed, Damian Kaine.
L: Damian Kaine! Greetings!
Damian Kaine: Okay, wait… Who are you?
L: Oh geez. Your memory must be out of whack. I'm L Verez. I'm one of the new additions to the UCI roster. I debuted the week after Lazarus.
Damian Kaine: I.. Yeah. Yeah, okay. I think I remember you.
L: Okay. Do you know how you got here?
Damian Kaine: The last thing I remember was walking to my rental car. I just blacked out.
L: How long ago was that?
Damian Kaine: Uh...
Damian looks down at his phone. He seems to have lost track of time. Ironic, since he's teamed up with a Time Witch.
Damian Kaine: Fuck... It was the 27th. Four days ago.
L: 4 days ago? That was the day after the Election Day event.
Damian Kaine: Shit, was it? I've been here in Vancouver since the night of your debut.
L: Woah... So you never joined #beachkrew, you weren't the one to introduce Kaz Mazy to UCI, and you weren't the one to team up with him at Election Day.
Damian gives L a very confused stare.
Damian Kaine: ...What the hell are you talking about?
L: A doppelganger has taken your place since you've been here in Vancouver. So wait... It wasn't you that was with Bonnie when you guys were watching my match with Joe Smarts.
Damian Kaine: I haven't seen a lick of wrestling since that night... I haven't even been online.
L: What have you been doing the whole time you've been in Vancouver?
Damian Kaine: I've been wrapping up on filming. Or, trying to, anyway. After Bonnie up and joined #beachkrew, I needed a bit of time.
L: So you were never ok with her joining #beachkrew? Well, that makes three of us.
Damian Kaine: Three? Oh, right. Andre..
L: Alex Richards, actually. Andre is out of the picture, remember?
There goes that confused look again.
Damian Kaine: Wait. Wait, wait, wait… what!?
L: Yeah, Alex is back from the dead. He came back to return to the Guardians.
Damian Kaine: Holy shit…
L: Yeah, you missed a lot while you were here in Canada.
Damian shakes his head a bit to try and wrap his head around everything.
Damian Kaine: Huh... Okay. Look, can you get me to Georgia? I need to get home and see family. While I'm home I'll check into everything.
L: Oh, I can definitely do that! Are you used to teleportation? I don't need two people puking after we get to our destination.
Not my fault you chose someone with motion sickness to teleport with you everywhere.
Damian Kaine: Oh, trust me. I'm good. I guess that's a perk of having no food to throw up.
L: Oh cool, so you guys can eat while we're there too. Vinnie can pay your way.
So now I have to teleport *and* spend money on others. Splendid.
Damian Kaine: Uhh.. Vinnie?
Yes. Hello. That's me. Holding the odd, extraterrestrial camera. Being forced to teleport places and pay for other people to eat. Vince Walker is my actual name. L just likes to nickname everything.
Damian Kaine: Can you move a bit so I can get a better look at you?
Alright. Let me step forward here… There. Now you can see all of my spectacular features.
Damian Kaine: Holy whoa... You look like Tom!
Tom? Who the bloody hell is Tom? You're not comparing me to that bloke that made MySpace, are you?

Ahh, yes, that Tom… I totally knew the actor's name. But yes, I get that a lot. No relation though. Just mere coincidence.
Damian Kaine: He's a pretty cool dude.. Shit I need some sleep.
Damian looks towards L. He seems very drained from his Vancouver trip.
Damian Kaine: Can we go ahead and get this over with?
L: Oh yeah, we'll be there in a snap!
A very dreadful snap. L Verez gets her Holo out so Damian can give her the correct coordinates. Once that's done, she leads us to the teleporter. We step in, an--

L: I hope we got the coordinates right... Wanna double check for me, Damian?
Damian takes a look around the area to make sure we're in the correct location, while I'm over here dying. It definitely feels like we're in Georgia. And I'd sure hate to be in an unknown area.
Damian Kaine: Looks about right..
L: Okay, perfect! Now where's the house you're looking for?
Damian Kaine: Should be about a mile north. You up for a walk?
Great. First, we have to teleport, and now, we have to walk. Can't wait.
L: Well, unlike Vinny here, I'm always up for traveling!
Hey, you're the one that decided to take me on this journey. Oh.. now Damian's turning towards me.
Damian: There should be an extra bed at the house. And you're gonna get pampered by my momma.
Excellent! That's the best news I've heard in quite some time. Now I'm up for that walk. Damian leads the way to our rest stop.

~Two days later~
It's the day before the next Overload, but our “Universal Protector” L Verez is not taking any days off. Even after her adventure with Damian Kaine. We've returned to L’s home galaxy, but not her planet, or even her solar system. L actually told me the name of the planet though. It's called “Quartex”. It looks very astonishing. From my view, I see a bright, lavender sky, with two crossing asteroid belts surrounding us. We're safe from any of them hitting us though, thanks to a barrier protecting the planet. At our feet is what feels like sand, but looks much brighter and much more shiny. Maybe that's why L brought Limbo here. Polonium and Luminous are both with us as well. While around us are … well.. I'm not sure. Everything just looks like light. The Quasar shines bright in the distance. L told me that's what she named her “Quasar Implosion” finisher after. Apparently, her planet and solar system are much closer to that Quasar. How I've survived here, I will never know. Back to the topic, L has just finished helping the people of the Quartex, from the attack of these shadow like creatures. I understand why the natives were so concerned. They literally emit their own light with their skin. Or are they made of light? I can't tell. They're basically big floating orbs of light, from what I can tell.
L: It's nice to literally defeat darkness. Makes those Milk's metaphors a bit more entertaining. Isn't that right, Limbo?
Limbo: SHINY, SHINY, SHINYYYYYY!!!
L laughs while Limbo looks like he's consumed a lifetime supply of caffeine, floating around everywhere.
Luminous: Enjoying the view before deciding to leave, L?
L: Yeah. This is one of my favorite places to go. It's so peaceful here, once those Shadows aren't getting in the way. The Quartex really allows me to focus, and help me make important decisions.
Luminous: I’m assuming this is leading to some news.
L: You'd be right! I've finally decided… I'm going to join the Guardians!
Luminous: Well, it's about time. I predicted this from the beginning.
L: Well, my main worry was #beachkrew. I still am worried about that, since Bonnie is still sided with them, and she is the leader of The Guardians… but it doesn't feel as hopeless as before! And with some extra people on my side, and helping me progress, I'll be able to climb the ladder of UCI much faster, while we help Bonnie get back to her senses!
NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO RESIST THE DEADLY BRAIN ERASER, PROTECTOR.

Luminous: Well, I'm glad you've decided. But I think it's time to head home, so you can focus on your match tomorrow.
L: Definitely. C’mon guys! It's time to show Karlie Nash what L Verez has in store for her!
Well… back to the dreaded teleporter once again. This was a major week for the Protector of the Universe. She'll be headed to UCI with a full head of steam. Karlie Nash won't know what hit her when “Not of this World” L Verez strikes!
