Holy cow what did I get myself into.

You're fine man, don't sweat your first RP in a new fed. I thought it was pretty solid. You've obviously got some experience and what's important is that you've got the foundation of a story going. Fwiw my first RP was absolute shit, but as long as you stay true to your character and build yourself up week after week you'll be golden.

But yeah, there are some incredible writers here. The shit's being brought this week. Don't let it discourage you though, like you said just use it as motivation. I think you're off to a great start.

That place can't hold a candle to this place. Trust me. I rocked that place with Gemini and I've struggled to break mid card with these guys.

Key is to find your characters motivation. It can't be all about winning and losing. Fangs gotta be a deeper character than he was back at the other place.

I've always been about the story. WHen I first went into the GWA Fang lost his first eight matches straight. If I was just about the win I'd have gotten out of Efedding ages ago. I've been playing since we used to do this shit in batch emails twice a week (Once for the promos once for the show)

When I first started back in the dark ages it was via through e-mail with no roleplay limit. From what I can see of Fang, you'll fit right in just fine. Everyone I think starts out slow then finds their legs. Just remember to have fun, that's what counts.

you have to bring the fang that is deep and cerebral as well as competitive and cocky. I guess meaning this fed is as much about character development as it is about shoot. In the place that shall not be named shoot was most important I think. It took me a while to change out of that.

I know you have what it takes. We were never in that fed at the same time active but I always loved the stuff you wrote.

I was having a conversation awhile back about how I view UCI the same way I view sports. For me, NBA is the best comparison since it's what I watch a ton of.

You'll always have a few people who build themselves up to a top dog spot. That's the case with most feds of course. The thing is though, that I view UCI as being a place in kayfabe full of elite pro athletes. Everyone from the opener to the main event has something and has the chance to build that. Maybe they blow you away and start racking up wins on their way up the card at rapid pace or maybe they do as an athlete does and looks for ways to train and improve in writing which is something that should be done at that personal pace. Maybe it's "I should work on doing ___ better in my next RP or ____." The fact that you're looking at things and having that mindset and ability of identifying the good qualities in the work of others tells me that you're gonna do just fine and fit right in here.
