Jimmy Garcia: Ladies, and gentlemen. Welcome back to UCI Overload here in Madison, Wisconsin, and we are finally reaching the moment everyone has been waiting for. The main event. “Relentless” Andre Holmes facing off against “Lost Boy” Howard Black!
Gravedigger: Is that the best introduction you can come up with jackass? This is HOWARD BLACK vs ANDRE HOLMES! You know what kind of dream match? It should be main eventing a PPV!
Jimmy Garcia: Can you at least give me some credit?
Gravedigger: WHERE?
Jimmy Garcia: I hate you.
Taylor Lorde stands inside the ring, and she’s wearing her short blue dress with her black wedges on. Completely happy to be here in the Kohl arena as everyone in their seats are chanting for the main event, waiting years for this dream to finally come true, and where better else?
Crowd: LET’S GO ANDRE! LET’S GO HOWARD! LET’S GO ANDRE! LET’S GO HOWARD!
The lights in the Kohl arena completely shut off, darkness swarming everything inside. “Lost Boys” by Death Grip is the first entrance music of the two to start playing. Apparently, the crowd shows a major disliking to the new Howard Black, and a strobe light appears center stage showing Howard with his head down, and hoodie up. Face covered, and his black tights with black wrestling boots. He stands up, and spreads his arms out unleashing a primal scream out to the sky!
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Marching down to the ring with the spotlight only on him, he ignores the fans stretching their arms to try, and touch him. He continues walking down to the ring fixing the tape around the fingers on his left hand, and the tape around his right wrist, the lion insignia on the side of his wrestling pant sized tights.
Gravedigger: Howard Black destroyed Burn Out, Michael, and Shadowlove ever since he returned into UCI but his main target is Scarecrow. Good. I’m tired of hearing that name. What kind of dumbass names himself Scarecrow?
Jimmy Garcia: But don’t forget. Even though Andre was cost the loss against Erin, he’s gonna need this match for momentum after the challenge he laid down for her.
Gravedigger: Only a bitch loses to women.
Jimmy Garcia: Is that why you lost to Katherine Phoenix?
Gravedigger: BOY, IF YOU DON’T SIT YO UGLY ASS DOWN!
Howard quickly climbs up the steel steps, and then shoots his body to stand on the middle turnbuckle as another spotlight brightens his entire body to the crowd. He spreads his arms out, and continues yelling in the camera as the crowd is furiously upset at his presence.
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
After jumping over the top rope, he quickly scurries backwards into his own corner. Warming up by throwing a few jabs, and kicks until his music fades, and the lights return to normal. Now we hear completely what the crowd is chanting, and he doesn’t give a shit one bit.
Crowd: ANDRE HOLMES! ANDRE HOLMES! ANDRE HOLMES! ANDRE HOLMES!
Jimmy Garcia: I think we all know who the crowd wants to win this dream match.
Gravedigger: Yeah, a loser.
A guitar riff starts playing with the lights going dark again; grey video clips of Andre Holmes training backstage. “Relentless” by New Years Day blasts off from the surround systems of the Kohl center with the lights flashing, and dancing around every section of the interior. Andre walks out with the leather black hoodie over his head but not covering his face. MMA gloves on with the black, and red sleeve on his right arm.
Crowd: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Standing center stage staring at the crowd cheering him, always bringing that warm smile on his face. He turns around to show “Relentless” custom made in a red blood graphic on the back of his hoodie jacket before walking down to the ring.
Jimmy Garcia: Here you go ladies, and gentlemen. “Relentless” Andre Holmes has made it here in Madison, Wisconsin. The crowd is absolutely going wild.
“Tear Me Down, It Won’t Build You Up…”. Andre pauses in his path to the ring to assume a power man stance while lifting his head for his own primal scream. Smoke blasts up in the air from the stage to give that perfect pose, and the lights return to normal again. He walks down to the ring in his black wrestling tights with “Holmes” painted in red on the back.
Crowd: ANDRE HOLMES! ANDRE HOLMES! ANDRE HOLMES!
After slapping a few fans hands, he quickly sprints down to the apron before hopping onto it, and taking a podium stand on the middle turnbuckle. Andre does that power pose again with smoke rising from below him with the spotlight from behind. Darkness ensuing everywhere else for that shadowy silhouette effect to the eyes of thousands.
Gravedigger: How much did we actually spend to pay for this guy’s entrance? Seriously. A guy who loses this much should not even have a decent entrance. My entrance better have ten million strippers.
Jimmy Garcia: You wrestle?
Gravedigger: I should.
Standing in the opposite corner of Howard, both men are ready as the lights return to normal, and the music fade away. The production team gives the cue for Taylor Lorde to begin announcing, and finally everything has come down to this.
Ding Ding Ding!
Taylor Lorde: Ladies, and gentlemen. This match is our main event, and it is scheduled for one fall!
Darkness ensues again, and a spotlight is on each competitor in their corners. Howard takes off his hoodie as well with Andre, and hand it to the ringside crew.
Taylor Lorde: Introducing first! Hailing from Lincoln, Nevada! At five feet, eight inches tall, weighing in at 215 pounds. He is “The Lost Boy” Howard Black!
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Howard walks forward, and spreads his arms outwards. Smirking at Andre who is his corner throwing boxing combinations, kickboxing, and Muay Thai. He backs off, and lets Taylor continue on with her introductions.
Taylor Lorde: Introducing his opponent! Hailing from Houston, Texas! At five feet, nine inches tall, weighing in at 201 pounds. He is “Relentless” Andre Holmes!
The lights returned to normal, and Andre stands in his corner as the referee ensures the ring is cleared. With everything in motion, he nods his head, and signals for the match to be underway.
Ding Ding Ding!
Howard, and Andre slowly move around the ring. Circling each other, anticipating their every movement. They don’t even come close enough to the middle to begin grappling. No, every step must be carefully placed. Two technical wrestlers who are very very equal on paper.
Crowd: LET’S GO ANDRE! HOWARD SUCKS! LET’S GO ANDRE! HOWARD SUCKS!
They slowly, and carefully pace into the middle of the ring. Hands stretched out for a potential lock up but to decide to back off, and circle the ring again. Repeating the same action, Andre, and Howard meet up again, and successfully lock up with a traditional collar, and elbow tie up.
Gravedigger: You always gotta’ be careful when you’re in the feeling out process. Never going to be able to know what’s going to happen.
Howard shoves him a few steps back, and then Andre returns the favor. They find each other in a stalemate. Neither moving, everything at a stand still. They break off, and continue circling the ring again. Needing more time to formulate a plan in their head. Break time over, they lock up once again in the center of the ring.
Crowd: LET’S GO ANDRE! HOWARD SUCKS! LET’S GO ANDRE! HOWARD SUCKS!
Quickly taking the right arm of Andre, Howard shoots himself under to apply a temporary Wrist Lock. Andre in a very bad position as Howie pushes the wrist up to make sure he doesn’t go anywhere; but his opponent spins to his backside with his left arm, and applies the Hammerlock. Right behind him, Howard tries to throw an elbow back but Andre’s head movement is too good. Now he breaks the Hammerlock, and applies down on the Side Headlock keeping Howard at bay.
Jimmy Garcia: Amazing chain wrestling shown by the two. This is a very technical aspect of the match. Chain wrestling back, and forth; really can’t tell what is gonna happen.
Caught in this position, Howard is slowly throwing forearms right into the spine of Andre. Hold getting loosened even second until he sweeps the leg of the Lost Boy, and slams him down on the mat. More leverage applied in the Side Headlock until Howard reels his legs around his throat, and pulls him back into the Scissors Choke.
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Andre shoots his body around, standing right on his knees. Howard continues to squeeze his legs around his neck until he pops his head out, and rolls forward. Pinning his back on top of his chest for the first pin attempt of the match.
One!
Howard bridges up until they are both standing. Twisting their bodies around; backs facing each other until sliding him down onto his shoulders for a backslide pin attempt.
One!
Andre rolls backwards to his feet, and jumps sideways over his body. Grappling him until rolling him over on his shoulders again.
One!
Howard kicks back, and manages to sweep the leg of Andre when gets up to drive his back down to the mat for a quick pin attempt.
One!
Both men kip up back to their feet. Howard ducks under the Tornado Kick, and Andre flips backwards with Howie’s arm missing the lariat. After landing on his feet, the two staredown each other after a beautiful sequence.
Crowd: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Jimmy Garcia: Amazing! The two have shown incredible grappling, and back to back pin attempts. Andre, and Howard are more equal than we thought.
Gravedigger: Hell no. When you beat your opponent, you’re never equal.
Continuing back on the circling, they both meet up again. Locking up one more time until Howie finds the strength to gain the advantage on using his weight to push him down into the corner. Andre’s back leaned up against the turnbuckles with his hand raised for the referee to start counting.
One!
Two!
Three!
Four!
Howard backs up with his hand raised, and then goes for an elbow strike but Andre ducks right out of his reach. Standing center of the ring, he wags his finger, and Howard can’t do anything but smile. Another meet up in the center; both locking up again until Andre is the one to get knee’d in the mid section.
Gravedigger: See! I told you.
Grappling onto his right arm, he launches him into the ropes. Off the return, Howard slides onto his chest forcing Andre to hop over, and continue. Getting back up, he hops while Andre runs under him in his path, and then gets to Dropkick him down into the canvas.
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOO!
Andre gets back up again, and gets Dropkicked down into the mat yet again. Howard is really turning up the intensity of the match. Always knocking Andre down when gets back up especially with a clothesline but to finish his temporary sequences, he manages to suplex him in the center of the ring before floating over for the pin.
One!
T--
Andre kicks out, and Howard applies a small arm lock on his knees. Keeping his opponent at bay, he struggles as his right arm is being targeted the most. Hell, a few elbows onto the joint is weakening that targeted limb even more. Pushing back up, Andre quickly throws up a right leg to Roundhouse kick him in the thigh.
Jimmy Garcia: Here we go. The famous Roundhouse Kicks is going to be a game changer.
Howard backs off but Andre continues the pressure. Back to back kicks are mixed between his body, and his legs. Now his opponent is stuck on the ropes until he is sprung off by an irish whip. Upon the return, Andre spins his body around before Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaking him right across his knee then helping him back up to his feet beside him. He wraps his arm around his chest before lifting him, and dropping his back on that knee again with a Uranage Backbreaker.
Crowd: OOOOOOOOOOH!
Jimmy Garcia: Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker! Andre has managed to get yet another attack down on the spine. A Tilt-A-Girl Backbreaker, and Drainage Backbreaker.
Gravedigger: That’s Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker, and Uranage Backbreaker jackass...but that was pretty good.
Howard is down on his back cringing from his spine almost contorting the wrong. Changing the tide of the match, Andre goes for his own pin attempt.
One!
Tw-
He kicks out from the pin attempt, and Andre continues to use his striking as his advantage. Getting up back, Black sits up only for his back to get kicked in. Another kick into the back is slapped around the entire arena to hear until Andre runs forward into the ropes, and rebounds to Basement Dropkick him down on his back again.
Crowd: WOOOOOOOOO! ANDRE! ANDRE! ANDRE!
A pin attempt would be stupid to do at this point so why not try something else? Andre helps Howard back to his feet, and launches him down into one of the empty corners. Back slammed against the turnbuckles, Andre lariats his chest to keep him seated in the corner. Returning to the old corner, it’s used as that extra spring in his kick to drive his right knee through the skull of Howard.
Gravedigger: Trapped in the Corner! One of the trademark moves of Andre. A corner Lariat followed by a corner knee into the face of his opponent.
Jimmy Garcia: Yeah, what you said.
Body dragged out like a corpse being improperly buried. The pin attempt is made yet again.
One!
Two!
Howard kicks out, and Andre is getting pissed off. He looks up to the referee, and demands it to be a three but it’s the official who is in charge. Thinking of a new way, Black springs out of nowhere, and quickly locks his legs around the right arm to apply the armbar.
Crowd: OOOH!
Jimmy Garcia: Armbar applied! Andre is caught dead center in the ring, and he has nowhere to go. How will he be able to escape this submission hold?
Andre’s legs are being kicked everywhere but Howard is torquing down on the wrist to add more pressure. His right arm is really getting worse; Andre drags his body weight on top of Howard to secure an emergency pin attempt.
One!
Tw-
He throws him down back into the armbar, and now the pain is increasing. Lips biting, teeth grinding, screaming pains. Andre drags his weight on top of the arms to the ropes close as possible but it’s just enough to put his right foot on the bottom rope for the rope break. The referee counts to disqualify him.
One!
Two!
Three!
Four!
Howard breaks the hold, and Andre rolls out of the ring. He drops onto his knees, working out his right arm to get the feeling back. The referee has no choice but to begin the count, Howard stands back up, and leaves the ring to follow his opponent.
One!
Two!
Being at ringside, he takes Andre, and slams his elbow down on the apron edge. That stuns his right arm even more as he makes distance. Howard follows behind him, and quickly takes that same right arm in his grasp again; whipping him into the steel steps-- instead Andre spins around to launch him again. Howard crashes stomach first into the edge of the structure, and falls down to the ringside mat.
Three!
Four!
Gravedigger: Andre showing everyone here in the Kohl Center of Madison, Wisconsin what it means to be Relentless. Howard Black was thrown into the steel steps like a wrecking ball.
Jimmy Garcia: Oh you mean like the song by Mil--
Gravedigger: DON’T SAY HER NAME!
Five!
Six!
Andre rolls into the ring, and goes along with Howie to attempt another pin.
One!
Two!
He kicks out, and Andre assumes a side control position in technical wrestling variations of the MMA background. Downwards came the elbows digging deeper, and deeper through the strong ribcage of the lost boy that he’s screaming out loud. Howard rolls away, covering his ribs from the terrible impact of the elbows.
Crowd: ANDRE! ANDRE! ANDRE!
Just when you thought Howard couldn’t catch a break, he found himself cornered. Andre continues to work down on the exposed stomach, and back of Howard. Two targeted areas of his body. Multiple kicks straight into the ribs; winding him down to fall to his knees in the corner. A relentless man shows no mercy, finishing him off with a kick into his chin knocking him down.
Jimmy Garcia: Jesus! His striking is so precise. Mixing it up between the stomach, and chin. Grave, what do you think of this?
Gravedigger: The more versatile, the better.
Both men in the center of the ring again. The two competitors are reaching the middle of their gas tanks but Andre decides to mix it up on working Howie’s back, and stomach. He trips him forward to land his gut onto his left knee. Continuing the combination, Andre stands him up, and then drops him down backwards against his right knee. Third time’s the charm, and a lungblower finishes him off.
Crowd: OOOOOOOOOOOOOH!
An unseen trademark move, “Triple Knee Combo”, hell the name fits perfectly. Andre hooks the leg of the downed Howard who can barely breathe from all the damage he’s suffered.
One!
Two!
Again, the tough son of a bitch kicks out, and it’s time to mix up the grappling. Standing before him, he spreads the legs until sliding his right leg between them. Tieing the knot like baking a pretzel. The Relentless one turns him onto his chest, and sits down on his back to apply the legendary Sharpshooter!
Crowd: TAP! TAP! TAP! TAP! TAP!
Jimmy Garcia: Sharpshooter applied in the center of the ring, and Howard Black is on his last gas tanks. He really needs to figure out what he to do or else the referee will call the match.
So close to the ropes, hand outstretched to grab even the bottom one. Howard is really suffering while Andre is yanking back with the legs to get all the torque. Before his opponent can get the rope break, he ties the legs around his ankle, and leans back to lock his hands under the chin; converting it into the Muta Lock.
Gravedigger: Wow, I’ve never seen someone transition from the Sharpshooter to the legendary Muta Lock. That’s some really impressive grappling by the Relentless douchebag.
Jimmy Garcia: Who invented the Muta Lock?
Gravedigger: The Great Muta?
Jimmy Garcia: Is he American?
Gravedigger: MOTHERFUCKER!
More pain extracted down on the back. The head, and legs being pulled together to literally destroy the spine but Howard fights to on to secure the rope-break. His right hand tightly grabbing the bottom rope, and the referee is forced to begin the count.
One!
Two!
Three!
Four!
He releases the hold, and drags Howard back into the middle of the ring for a pin attempt.
One!
Two!
He kicks out, and Andre sits beside him wondering what the hell he has to do. He’s done everything he can, and nothing’s worked. Suddenly, he sees the answer. The ring apron. It’s the hardest part of the entire ring so why not use it to your advantage? He drags the lifeless body of Michael to the apron.
Crowd: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
The two competitors are up, and ready. Andre quickly kicks him in the ribs to shove his head in between his legs, and set him up for that piledriver on the apron.
Jimmy Garcia: Oh my god, he’s going to break his neck!
Forearms are being fired into the thigh of Andre’s leg that loosens; Howard pulls his head out, and nails him with a nasty elbow that stumbles. He holds onto the top rope until Andre leaps sideways to kick him behind the right ear with a Gamengiri. Howard nearly falls off but Holmes secures his head in between legs. One mistake cost too dearly, the Lost Boy gains enough energy to launches him over head, and land him spine first to the ringside mat with a Back Body Drop.
Crowd: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!
Gravedigger: Holy shit man! Howard Black just threw him over ten feet in the air. A Back Body Drop right from the apron to the ringside mat, and Andre is in literal pain.
One!
Two!
Howard is on his right knee, and can’t believe what he just did but when presented the opportunity, he took it. Now he is going to get vengeance, standing back up, and creating more distance; sparking a run until leaping off the apron to double foot stomp his feet into the ribs of Andre!
Crowd: OOOOOH!
Jimmy Garcia: A Back Body Drop followed by a Double Foot Stomp right down into the ribs of his own opponent. The referee has to restart the count but Howard does not give a flying crap what he does to Andre Holmes!
One!
Two!
Howard rolled forward onto his back, and Andre is laying down on his right side coughing after getting all the air pushed out of his body from the stomp. Dragged up to his knees, his face is slammed on top of the announce table by his opponent. Howie is pissed; livid actually. He bashes Andre’s face on the table again.
Three!
Four!
Jimmy Garcia: We better get out of here, he’s ripping off everything of the announce table. Oh no, now he’s dragging himself, and Andre on top of it.
The referee is warning them not to do anything but Howard continuously drags up the limp body of Andre close to him. Every fan in the Kohl Center is off their seats, standing up for a sick moment. Out of nowhere, Howard Black lifts into a Fireman’s Carry then throws him down while sitting down to drive his face through the table!
Crowd: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!
Jimmy Garcia: Fireman’s Carry Facebuster through the announce table! Oh my god! We need medical attention, both men are lying down in this carnage.
Gravedigger: This isn’t even worth having a dream match when your bodies are almost destroyed. Just stop the match ref, and get these two to the hospital!
Crowd: THIS IS AWESOME! THIS IS AWESOME!
With the referee already on the outside, he’s checking on the condition of both men in the wreckage they made. Andre, and Howard are truly giving everything they have on the line. The first man up, although it’s a pain in the ass to even move, is Howard who drags Andre by that hurt right arm; his carcass against the ringside mat.
Gravedigger: How is Howie even moving? What the hell man?!
Both men are on the mat inside the ring, the referee slides in, and starts counting the pin attempt by Howard Black.
One!
Two!
Thr--
No, his left shoulder is off the mat. The pin is no good, and now Howard is lying down on his side due to the fatigue reaching him in the body. Andre is breathing heavily on his back; can barely even move on the mat.
Crowd: THIS IS AWESOME! THIS IS AWESOME! THIS IS AWESOME!
Howard pushes up to drag him back up to his feet, and whips him right down into the ropes. Off the rebound, Andre comes back to clothesline him down into the mat. He gets back up again, and another clothesline is thrown to drop him into the mat. Off the third time’s a charm, Howard is shoved back down with a high Dropkick into his chest.
Crowd: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Jimmy Garcia: Andre Holmes is fired up, and ready to drop Howard Black down to the mat once, and for all!
Howard has scuffled right down into the corner, and Andre charges at him to nail that right elbow into his jaw. Running back, Howard follows after him to leap up, and strike his chin with a high knee that leaves him standing on his tippy toes.
Gravedigger: High Knee! High Knee! Andre can barely move, he’s like a statue in that ring now.
Damn right. To make matters worse, Howard ducks his right shoulder into his ribs to sit him right on the top rope. He climbs onto the second rope, and waves his head under his right armpit; however, Andre starts firing elbows right into that damaged ribs of his. Weakening the hold but Howard headbutts him to really stun him.
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
With the suplex hold secured, both men stand up on the top rope. The audience members getting out of their seats to get full glimpse of what’s about to go down.
Gravedigger: Incoming!
He Superplexes him down into the canvas, and rolls over him for both competitors to be back up on the mat in that same context. Lifting him up again, Andre flips himself to wrap his legs around the neck, and throw him over onto the back of his neck with the Frankensteiner; sitting down on his shoulders for the pin attempt.
One!
Two!
NO! Howard kicks out yet again, and Andre is thrown right on his chest from the kick-out.
Jimmy Garcia: He reverses it into the Frankensteiner. My God, what the hell does this man have to do?! I thought that was it, Howard Black is refusing to fall down no matter what!
Howard just crawls down over to the ropes, and leans against the bottom rope while Andre is busy getting back up on stumbling knees. Sensing the opportunity, his opponent gets up to lean back against the ropes. Andre charges forward to deliver that Yakuza Kick but Howard bends down, and tosses his body overboard.
Crowd: OOOOOOOOH!
Luckily, the athleticism of Andre lets him land his feet on the apron. Howard, however, spins around to deliver that Spinning Back Fist that slaps the shit out of his face, and leaves him dangling in between the ropes.
Gravedigger MOLLYWHOP! THE MOLLYWHOP!
Jimmy Garcia: Perfectly timed too, my god. Andre is leaning against the ropes, and Howard Black is dragging him through the ropes into the centre of the ring. How Andre is even standing is beyond me!
Andre is rocking back, and forth until he flips backwards onto a chest from receiving a running lariat into his chest. Howard goes down to roll him over, and pin down again.
One!
Two!
Thre--
No! Andre shoots up that right arm again, and now both men are down on the mat wondering what the hell could they do. The fans in Wisconsin are too satisfied with the beautiful heart shown by the warriors. Howard stands up again, flicking the sweat off his face while dragging Andre into his arms.
Crowd: HOWARD SUCKS! HOWARD SUCKS! HOWARD SUCKS!
He begins driving knees under his chin, rocking it upwards until stepping back. Charging back down into Andre on his knee, Black uses that right knee a step ladder to drive the knee into his chest with a Shining Wizard.
Crowd: OOOOOH!
It doesn’t stop there. He rolls down under the bottom rope to the ring apron, and gets up to hold the top rope with both hands. Andre rolling back, and forth to even get a clear vision in his head. The moment he gets back up, Howard leaps to the top rope before springboarding into the air to be caught on the shoulders of his opponent!
Jimmy Garcia: Howard Black is caught on top of the shoulders of Andre Holmes-- no. He moves back, he moves back!
He manages to slip off but Andre leaps backwards in order to drive his foot on the top of his head with a quick reaction Pele Kick!
Gravedigger: Pele Kick!
Before Howard can fall, he gets back up, and slings him across on his shoulder. Flipping him in front of him to drive that neck across his knee with the Death Valley Driver onto the knee.
Gravedigger: Holmes on the Range! Another trademark move, that’s three out of five! This has to be it, Howard Black is done! The pin is made!
One!
Two!
Thre-
NO! Andre is thrown off from the kick-out, and Howard Black is still in this. The two warriors are questioning if they even have the ability to finish each other off. Andre lies down on his back, thinking any way to take Howard Black.
Crowd: THIS IS AWESOME! THIS IS AWESOME! THIS IS AWESOME!
Andre is getting back up, and walking over to the corner to exit right onto the apron. He slowly climbs onto the top rope until perching right up to the down Howard Black who is on his back. Leaping into the air, he flips right backwards into a Shooting Star Splash landing on top of him for the pin!
One!
Two!
Quickly Howard takes the right arm, and converts it into a Kimura Lock!
Gravedigger: KIMURA LOCK! ANDRE HOLMES IS STUCK IN THE CENTER OF THE RING, HE’S MANAGED TO GET THE KIMURA LOCK IN! IS THIS IT FOR ANDRE HOLMES?!
The arm being pushed upwards to his head more, and more. Dragging his body weight sideways; turning around to bring them closer to the ropes. Quickly reacting by placing his foot onto the bottom rope already breaking the hold in the nick of time. The referee begins his count.
One!
Two!
Three!
Four!
Howard releases the hold, and Andre drops down onto the outside mat after rolling out of the ring. The referee starts counting but Howard rolls to the other side of the ring waiting for Andre to get back up.
Jimmy Garcia: Oh my god! Howard almost had Andre. That Kimura Lock was locked in but Andre used his body weight to shift around, and get his foot onto the bottom rope.
The one arm man uses his left arm to barely stand, and the other arm can barely move, twitching actually. Howard charges forward to dive through the turnbuckles, and steel post in an attempt to Torpedo DDT but is met with a Tornado Kick into the skull; his body dangling in between the structure.
Gravedigger: HOLY FUCK!
Jimmy Garcia: Oh my god!
Andre can’t waste any time. He releases a primal scream, and drags his body from the little space made, and shoves Howard’s head in between his legs before finding the strength to put him on top of his shoulders. All is silent when he Powerbombs his back into the apron edge.
Crowd: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!
Jimmy Garcia: BAD LANDING INTO THE APRON EDGE! HOWARD CAN’T EVEN MOVE, HE’S DONE FOR!
He’s rolled into the ring, and Andre slides in; taking the corner hostage until finding Howard trying to get up even though it’s possible. He sidesteps down, and Thrust Kicks the side of his head near the ropes.
Crowd: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Gravedigger: THRUST KICK!
Jimmy Garcia: HOWARD’S OUT, ANDRE’S GOING TO WIN! THE PIN IS MADE!
One!
Two!
Three-
The referee catches Howard’s foot on the bottom rope, and Andre can’t believe it. After everything that just happened, Howard managed to break the pin. Foot caught on the bottom rope for the rope-break, and Andre is legit on the verge of unleashing all hell.
Gravedigger: This is potentially match of the year! Both men have given everything they got, and here they are unable to even get up because of the pain coursing through them!
Andre slowly crawls down over to the opposing corner while Howard is busy trying to pick himself up. Every second in time is now slowed down; both men barely able to stand but they just do it. He charges across the ring to Yakuza Kick Howard into the face, his body rolling down to his back from the momentum of the impact.
Jimmy Garcia: YAKUZA KICK!
Climbing up to the top rope, he stays on the top turnbuckles until leaping backwards. Corkscrews into a 450 flip just to land on his feet then roll forward down to get back up again. When he turns around, Howard Black spears him right down onto the canvas.
Gravedigger: SPEAR! ANDRE HOLMES IS COMPLETELY OUT OF COMMISSION!
Howard is going to be using that last bit of energy to help themselves up again, and quickly launch him down into the ropes. Off the rebound, Andre tries to go for another Tornado Kick but he ducks it. It seems no move can keep a man down but Howard spins around for another Molly Whop until Andre shoots him with a Discus Elbow.
Gravedigger: ROLLING ELBOW!
He hooks the left arm of Howard into a Half Nelson, the other into a Hammerlock, and flip him over into a Half & Half Suplex!
Jimmy Garcia: HALF & HALF SUPLEX!
Howard rolls over onto his chest before standing on his knees. Andre sidesteps into him again for another Thrust Kick but Howard slaps the leg away before leaping up to wrap his legs around his waist, and torque his arm behind his back with the Kimura Lock! Andre drops down to his chest, trying to fight out of it!
Crowd: THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME! THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME! THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME!
Jimmy Garcia: THE KIMURA IS LOCKED IN AGAIN! THAT RIGHT ARM OF ANDRE IS FUCKED! CALL IT REFEREE, CALL IT!
Andre is yelling at the top of his lungs, Howard doing his best to hyper-extend it. Without anything else, Andre simply starts slamming his hand on the mat, tapping out already to the submission hold.
Ding Ding Ding!
Crowd: MATCH OF THE YEAR! MATCH OF THE YEAR! MATCH OF THE YEAR!
Taylor Lorde: Here is your winner by submission, Howard Black!
Every person in the audience of the Kohl Center stands on their feet, and applauds the two warriors for an amazing match. Obviously, there was no losers. Andre is on his side feeling completely shit, and useless for losing while Howard is placing a hand down his back from the pain.
Jimmy Garcia: Wow, amazing. What a great main event, and dream match by Howard Black, and Andre Holmes.
Gravedigger: Yeah, you know what? Fuck who wins or loses, these two put on potentially match of the year, and that’s enough to have their stock raised higher in UCI.
Multiple referees come down to the ring to assist the men who are in need of some medical attention. They can barely stand walk, let alone even look at each other. Howard, and Andre slowly meet in the middle of the ring to look into each other’s eyes until they finally shake hands showing respect for the great match of their careers.
Jimmy Garcia: And there you have it. Honor, and mutual respect between two of the best competitors in all of professional wrestling today. We’ll see you next time on UCI: Overload. Good night!
