.Why does no one watch Person of Interest T_T seriously one of my favorite shows of all time and it is on its last season though I am waiting til it is on netflix (gonna be such a hard wait) It is brilliant not only in a structural sense (which is one of its excelling points) it is amazing how it wraps sci-fi with poltical/social/economic issues of modern times with an awesome atmosphere and characters! Johnathan Nolan is a fucking genius and it makes me excited for his Westworld series remake.
There are a lot of others, such as Daredevil (amazing) House of Cards (amazing) and other netflix originals. But really I am big into cartoons and anime (was gonna make an anime thread but I imagine this can cover that too unless yall get tired of us weebs ruining your thread lol)
For cartoons, Rick and Morty has to be one of the best things ever.
Anime wise there is so much to talk about but I will stick with this most recent season.
Re:Zero (Very intense show that manages to balance in some comedy but the show is crazy-go-nuts)
Bungo Stray Dogs (this one is pretty good but I am kinda waiting the season out before giving my whole opinion as it straddles the line between awesome and possibly being disappointing. Characters are fun and so far the story is pretty interesting!)
Twin Star Exorcist (Shonen AF! Yelling out attacks! Chosen One! Kids being super fighters! Old Perverts! Classic fight anime. Kinda cliche as hell but kinda really fun as well)
Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress (This is THE anime of the season. AMAZING, INTENSE, BRILLIANT, AND BEAUTIFUL! From the director of Death Note and Attack on Titan with the writer from Code Geass, and other such legendary figures in anime, this is a Super Group of Japanese animation! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!)
EDIT: HOW DID I FORGOT 'MY HERO ACADEMIA'!?!?!? That show is the mad notes! Amazing! Post-modern Super Hero stuff in a similar vein to One Punch Man! Brilliant!

Yeah, for anybody with Netflix access, Gable is on it- House of Cards is just sick, Daredevil is way better than "blind guy fights ninjas, bleeds a lot" should be (oh man, D'onofrio as Kingpin <3) and Person of Interest is amazing. I mark for that entire cast. Sarah Shahi is stupid good in that shit, not to mention easy to look at (intently, perhaps without pants on). Amy Acker as Root? I was sold on that from jump (I'm still in love with Fred from Angel, I won't lie). Y'all know how much I love shady spy shit, team action drama and hot broads kicking ass. Of course I'm a big Person of Interest fan Put it in your brain. Finch could always use more friends. -B.

Oh yeah, speaking of Rick and Morty (which you should already have put in your brain, you silly humans), someone should plug its Adult Swim cousin The Venture Bros. Love that shit. Love it hard.
Oh, and Community. Fuck yeah Community. It's so much better than sitcoms should be able to be. Same thing with 30 Rock, but I'm still saying Community stands out as just plain ol' good watching anytime of day. Plus: Alison Brie. I would build a sex dungeon for that.

I'm still holding out for that Person Of Interest spin-off with Root, Shaw, and the Belgian Malinois, Bear. I mark for Sarah Sashi too. I geeked out for Amy Acker, Alyson Hannigan, Sarah Michelle Geller, and Charisma Carpenter. Then again, you might as well add Peta Wilson and Maggie Q as Le Femme Nikita as well. Shit, Homer Simpson says it all. . .

Twilight Zone 4 eva, bitches. On that note, Youtube is home to a lot of really inventive and legitimately spooky horror shit. I know this isn't TV but CLOSE ENOUGH! Marble Hornets (who have since gotten their shit jacked by a whole lot of sawftboiz) Tribe Twelve EverymanHYBRID CH/SS Stan Frederick Meatsleep (RIP) Alantutorial As well as those Alan Resnick produced "Infomercials" for Adult Swim: Unedited Footage of a Bear, This House Has People in It, and Live Forever As You Are Now (With Alan Resnick). So much good shit.

So much good shit. Speaking of which, I saw Night Mind's videos on that stuff. Actually really cool. Though, with "This House Has People In It" I think his analyzation kind of goes slightly off the rails when he gets deeper into it, but not of his own fault, I just think whatever parable/metaphor Resnick was going for got a bit lost in the extra footage, but that bit on "Unedited Footage of a Bear" was on point, and it was cool to see a comprehensive explanation for Marble Hornets since it would have been a bit difficult to go through that stuff on my own so long after the fact. I honestly find a strange level of quality in those Adult Swim infomercial stuff, especially when it comes to ramping up the strangeness, something about the execution is nightmare-ish and potent. When I first watched Unedited Footage of a Bear, I was genuinely unnerved by it, which is exactly what he was going for with all the unnaturalness he puts in there and how it begins to escalate through the course of the piece. There is something about fringe pieces like that that has an incredible charm to them. Which is why I guess I love horror (or why a lot of people love horror I should say haha), stuff like Lovecraft has always felt like 'looking over the edge' at something I shouldn't, which is why it sucks when it gets over-saturated or begins to unravel (*cough* American Horror Story *cough*). Though, more to the point, I would love to see something on TV create the atmosphere of stuff like Marble Hornets or something of that sort (though without ripping it off of course), because I think there is a lot of potential to work with in that atmosphere and it would be fresh to see something horror related not just devolve into pulp (*cough* American Horror Story/Most Syfy shows *cough*). I mean, to bring it back to my earlier post, what I love about the Twilight Zone is its not just some dated horror sci-fi show, it is a legit amazing show, and some episodes are still as creepy as they are now as they use to be. With so much potential and inspiration from so many sources, there is no reasons horror shows should be relegated to become cheap 'no-longer-eerie' products after a point-n-time.

Wow, I feel old and behind the times. I don't have good internet, just my phone, so watching anything on my computer is out of the question. So I'm stuck with whatever's on broadcast and/or what I can find on dvd. Currently watching: The Flash -- such good shit. Berlanti does everything right with this show. Hints at Flashpoint and various Crisis storylines, makes a ton of homage to Silver Age stories, and they throw in a ton of little nerdy details, like Jesse Quick's speed equation. Extra bonus points for casting John Wesley Shipp as Barry's dad. Legends of Tomorrow -- as previously observed, wonderfully cheesy. Vandal Savage is easily the best small screen supervillain going right now. And that cliffhanger at the end of the season? I can't wait for fall! (I secretly hope this will give rise to a JSA series, because JSA is the shit.) Gotham -- Did I mention I'm a DC mark? This show...man... The first season was a little shaky, but they've got their footing now, and the plot twists are actually pretty good. Some events look cheap or stupid at first, and then you find out why certain things happened in certain ways. I think a lot of people who complain about it are just butthurt that they're taking some liberties with the overall Bat-verse, but if I want to see a rehash of every Batman comic ever, I'll just re-read the books. Lucifer -- Clever, smart, funny, charming. I admit I haven't followed the comics, but the show makes me want to. Good stuff. Person of Interest -- Love this show, for so many reasons. Not the least of which is that I could stare at Jim Caviezel for hours. No, but for real, the individual stories, the overall plot, all the little details they like to throw at you... intense. Good stuff. I'm sure there are more, but it's early and I'm still on my first cup of coffee.

Only thing I watch on TV is wrestling on Monday nights.
I have very cheap cable, its basically an internet package with some cable channels. We watch a lot of movies. But my daughter usually has the TV locked down with Daniel Tiger, Special Agent Oso, My Little Pony, Power Rangers, and whatever else she finds on Netflix or the weird MLP fan videos she finds on Youtube. Really bizarre stuff.

My daughter once showed me a thing where a guy would read people's MLP fanfic aloud -- with all the spelling and grammar errors. Hilarious and disturbing.
