My opinion, and it might be just that, but the Rising Stars should be called the Jr Heavyweight Division, just to give it more legitimicy. I actually prefer the "Rising Star" name. The name makes it feel like a good jump start for newcomers. It feels very welcoming. |

Maybe rising stars isn't the best name considering people like Oblivion are in it and he is DEF not a Rising Star. He's already a star But jr heavyweight implies a weight limit and with someone like oblivion in it that doesn't work either. |

Jr Heavy/cruiser/light-heavy or whatever else you want to call it shoehorns so many names into this weird glass ceiling of classes when they could have reached for the top. |

Maybe not Jr Heavyweight, but we opened the discussion! Calling it "Rising Stars" is a shoehorn though, and when you do have guys like Obi in it, it tends to lose its meaning because everyone knows Obi. He's already broken past that "Rising Stars" mantra, imo, like years ago lol

Maybe Blazing Star, instead of Rising Star? I mainly wanna keep the "Star" part of the name. I think it's pretty fitting.

Wouldn't they mean that only Junior Heavyweights can fight for it? P.S.- I love the fact that your questioning legitimacy in a fake fake wrestling promotion. When Buff and I ran a fan fiction wrestling website (for a month) we argued over what to call our mid-card title. It was quite an argument. |

I agree with everyone's sentiments about how it makes things seem with the name rising stars.
We already have an infinity match
On the same vein of using the fed name we can call it the United Championship
I like the Openweight Title that one of the gents said (I'm not scrolling up)

How about since there is a 1,000 word limit and as a play on a period of a thousand years, change the Rising Stars Championship to the Millennium Championship?
