As someone who fancies himself a musician there are certain times for certain bands, but there are a few bands/albums that always gives me the feels deep down.
A Perfect Circle- Mer de Noms is one of those albums. There's something about the passion in Maynard's voice and the complex simplicity of the music, how they can make something that's not easy to play sound so contemporary yet still remain out of the public eye for the most part.
Discuss music!

A friend of mine recently pointed me to a hip-hop artist called Eyedea -- who is, unfortunately, no longer with us. Trippy, existential, experimental, thought-provoking weirdness.

Andre has been hitting me with great music choices as of late. Like Stitched Up Heart, the band rocks and the chick can sing.

Also, I just bought Lollapalooza tickets! Seeing Muse, The Killers (2nd time), Run the Jewels (3rd time), Foster the People, Joey Bada$$, Chance the Rapper (2nd time), Lorde, Cage the Elephant, Big Sean, Royal Blood, Lil Yachty, Rae Sremmurd, and Tegan and Sara to name a few. Will be like my 4th time going I think. Super stoked.

First Off everyone should own Appetite Of Destruction, as for my music choices, Metallica, CCR/John Fogerty, and Sheryl Crow are the constant staples with me, classic rock, some country, older rap ( I.E, House Of Pain, NWA, Public Enemy,) Eminem. a lot of this new stuff all sounds the same to me.

Royal blood was awesome live. Very white stripesesque Cage the elephant has cool different music too. Jack White was still the craziest show. My first big concert and I shit you not, the Earth shook beneath the collective feet of everyone there (my first Lollapalooza). It's an experience, man. Jack da goat.

Been to ozzfest a bunch of times. That was my generations lallapalooza. They were around at the same time but I'm more of a metal head.
Best show I've ever been to though was reel big fish at a dive bar with about 200 people there. They are fucking awesome.

I got into music with shit like White Stripes, Arctic Monkeys, Muse, etc. Got into rap probably 10th grade or so as I thought it was cool to see people selling rock star persona with a different twist when it seems like most people are just there, I dunno.

since I turned 15 I've been to at least one famous band concert/year. That doesn't include when cliff and I played in a band and would go see loca bands every weekend.
