So my friends and I talk about this a lot and we sometimes make lists. Its really fucking hard to do. Your top five wrestlers of all time. Not the top five best but your top personal top five. Here is mine.
1. Stone Cold Steve Austin. He was my favorite as a kid, as an adult, and will always be my favorite of all time.
2. The Rock. Hands down in my opinion the best there ever was on the mic. Also, I always liked how Rock was real good at getting his ass whooped and then come back at the end.
3. Chris Jericho. I mean what can you say? He is the best in the world at what he does.
4. Shawn Michaels. I think he is one of the best of not the best ever inside the ring barring that match against Hulk Hogan. I never really understood the "wrestlers tell a story in the ring" till I really started appreciating and watching his matches.
5. Kurt Angle. This guy is the complete package. Great on the mic. Great in the ring. He makes matches good. I have never seen a shitty Kurt Angle match.
OK so here we go....top five matches. I don't know if I can do five but Imma try. I'm not good at events so if I dont know it I'm not even going to try.
1. Triple Threat: The Rock, Undertaker, Kurt Angle. I could watch this match over and over and over. Its fucking great. I mark out when they all hit their finishers on each other.
2. The Rock vs Stone Cold, the wrestlemania when stone cold turned heel. One of thr best wrestlemanias ever, one of the best matches ever.
3. TLC 2 at summerslam The Hardy's vs Edge and Christian vs The Dudleys. It was fucking epic and to this day is fucking epic.
4. Ironman match Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart. Another match I could watch over and over again. Its got everything a great match needs. They pace themselves well and its interesting to see how two of the greatest (personally I'm not a huge fan of Brett hart.) Ever perform for that long without it getting bad.
5. Triple H vs Cactus Jack street fight. it was a toss up with this and Triple H vs Stone Cold best 2 out of 3 but I think this one definitely takes the cake. It was brutal and exemplified everything people loved about Mick Foley....that dude is crazy.
