I... Dislike... Finn Balor. Wade...say it ain't so! I'll elaborate and say I mostly dislike his shift from Finn Balor to The Demon King. There is absolutely NO personality or arsenal change. They just slap on some body paint and change his entrance. Yeah it's a cool sight to see, but there's nothing for me to sink my teeth in to. Where's his mean streak? Where's his vicious assault? He just keeps doing running forearms and pele kicks. His original moveset is fun and exciting but there needs to be a conscious shift from Finn to TDK so when he summons that, you know it's going to be something special. |

I was gonna go HAM on this, but I totally understand your explanation. I don't know that you even need a huge shift either. Maybe have a few moves that he does as TDK that you won't see without the paint. Or hell, maybe you don't even change his moveset that much, but he adds some intensity. For lack of a better example, starts hitting his moves more like Benoit and less like Malenko. Anyway, this I totally get. I love him either way but I get where you're coming from. |
