"Recently General Manager Jayson Price announced that he would be challenging Alex Richards for the UCI World Title on October 2nd at A Nightmare On South Street, a show that Price is in fact solely in charge of. With many people calling such a move a gross misuse of power, Price has finally released a statement.
'What people are failing to understand is that almost every title in UCI has been in the midst of a game of hot potato, bouncing around to person after person, some respectable but mostly unworthy, and it refletcts poorly on management. How does it look when those that we deem worthy of a title shot win, but then immediately lose? It shows an error in judgement and makes us look incompetent. And nowhere is this more egregious than the UCI World Title. Our most prized title, the one piece of gold above all others in the business, needs an owner that will literally die keeping it. It needs someone that can lead a company forward, not simply keep it warm for the next schmuck. Therefore, in the best interest of UCI and the UCI World Title, I took it upon myself to place myself in the position to challenge for the title so that I may give it a proper owner. While it may be unpopular amongst the roster, it's simply the right move.'
"When asked about Alex Richards' request for the match to take place inside a Taipei Cage Of Death, Price simply laughed and told us to watch his 'Best Of Jayson Price' DVD and relive the Cage Of Death Match he had against Chelsea Armstrong."

@theripper
Mister Price, while I appreciate your hard work and dedication in assembling one of the greatest cards in recent memory. I can't help but think that this match "seems" to be an abuse of power. It "appears" to be a legend, using his position within a company to force himself into a world title picture. A spot he has not recently earned. Perception sir, is often key in our business. And perception here, is not good.
Thank you however for your, "clarification". Most appreciated.
Good. Day.

Responding to the recent announcement that General Manager Jayson Price will be facing Alex Richards for the UCI World Heavyweight Championship on October 2nd at A Nightmare On South Street, UCIWrestling.com caught up with the manager of #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship “The Handsome Half-breed” Shadowlove, Ms. Miyamoto for comments:
“What this gaijin, General Manager Jayson Price-san, fails to realize is that the only date in this organization that truly matters is September 26, 2016, the only city that matters is Dallas, Texas, the only UCI Arena that matters is the American Airlines Center, and the only show that matters isn't A Nightmare On South Street but will be Rite of Passage. Price-san, will realize that The UCI Fandom will not stand for having their World Heavyweight Championship being representative as an opening act in one of Alex Richards-san’s world famous non-title matches, especially, on a Pay-Per-View like Rite Of Passage. Price-san, will indeed realize that this is the United Championship Infinite and not some half-baked cooking show on this, this Television Food Network that he represents at A Nightmare On South Street. One potato, two potato, General Manager Jayson Price-san vs Alex Richards-san match inside a Taipei Cage Of Death will be quite the bore without a real World Heavyweight Champion. While, General Manager Jayson Price and Alex Richards-san fight over the nuances over their meaningless dreams of delusions of grandeur, “The Handsome Half-breed” Shadowlove-san has proven to everyone in the United Championship Infinite that he is, and will be, the sanctioned or unsanctioned “New” World Heavyweight Champion come Rite Of Passage and A Nightmare On South Street. Price-san, you can stick that in your trophy case!”

@gmprice
If by doing what is best for UCI I become the lightning rod for the hatred in your hearts, then so be it. But everything that I do is to keep this company at the top and I will never stop.

Bullshit. Price's power play is part of a larger plan cooked up by his old boss. He'll scam his way to a win 10/2 and take the title to Reading faster than you can say Jack Masterson. This is a plot to destroy UCI. Don't be surprised when you see Jay Price on a rival show dropping our World Title belt in a trash bin and then exchanging Treacherous hand signs with his Keystone State cronies. The fix is in and shame on all of you for letting it happen!

None of the conspiracy theories or mind games are going to matter in the slightest. I'm keeping the title, and making Jayson eat his words. Bet on it.

@gmprice
Yes, I absolutely want to sink the buyrates for a PPV I booked, for a company in which I've heavily invested my own money. It all makes so much sense. Jesus fuck, where's the brains in this conversation?

Bet on it. @handsomehalf-breed There are no conspiracies in the YOU-SEA-EYE. Ever since Richards won that Championship, he has been afraid to put the title on the line. But cowardness has always been in his nature. You don't need a hack like Price to say when the Championship is on the line, A World Champion puts his reputation on the line when he denies giving the UCI Fandom what they want. I will walk out win or lose as the World Heavyweight Champion!

@gmprice claims to be heavily invested in UCI. Then why hasn't he released his tax returns proving it? #FullDisclosure

Full disclosure? You're a moron if you think I'd sabotage a major PPV. If the PPV is a failure, I lose money. It's pretty damn simple.
