I always assumed the Coma Kick was a corner superkick/big boot like the Ole Kick since that's what did in Jayson Price.

It was at the time, but since it's a bit too generic I changed it up. I might just cut down on these five hundred finishers I have. Having one finisher (two at most) and a specialist submission move makes more sense. Own those and make them count.

And I always suggest a rare variation of the move you only use at the biggest matches of your characters career. For example. The Burning Hammer used only six times by Kenta Kobashi in his LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG wrestling career.

Jeff's Superkick is 'outta nowhere' type.

I think I would be safe using mine if I come in active and not just trolling on the OOC...

I think the scope of this thread should be widened a little bit in the sense that we also need to take stock of used theme songs. In the roster boards there should be either a sticky thread for Taken Theme songs and a sticky thread for the moves thing you guys are talking about. OR just combine the threads somehow while still stickied on the Roster board.

I always kind of thought of it like.. sure anyone can do... move X, but Wrestler Y who uses it as a finisher does it better. Only so many moves out there.

Two of the hardest things are picking the right Finisher and the right Theme Song that fits best for your character. I used "Behind Blue Eyes" by The Who when I first started developing Shadowlove but then when I started role playing "Personal Jesus" kinda transcended into the characters personality and that became the song. Same with The Dark Gift: The dedicated DDT. The DDT just felt apropos as well, and dedicating it to Ms. Miyamoto made the move and my character feel complete.

for me if you have a really special, well thought out unique finisher.. I could see that being protected.. but if you use a move like say a double arm DDT, it stands to reason other wrestlers would know how to do a version of it..
then it's up to you to sell why your version is special.. like the people who posted above me ShadowLove explained why his DDT was special

I seriously doubt anybody but Jushin Liger is going to try using the Ice Cap, and he had it first.
It's by no means a 'devastating maneuver' by most standards, unless you're old school- then, you should know. Them kids today don't know nothin' bout no fisherman buster, yo.
It's worked for me since '96. I'll stick with it unless somebody makes me stop doing Polar things.
